Today, my parents have been married for twenty-nine years. As I've gotten older, I've seen the struggles that they've endured, but I've also seen how their loyalty, perseverance and unshakeable dedication to one another have time and again lifted them out of the valley to stand upon the mountain top.

I'm very aware of how blessed I am to have grown up witnessing a marriage that has now withstood almost three decades of life's ups and downs. Thank you, Mum and Dad, for teaching me how to love, and how to love well 🤍

Happy Birthday to the man who bought me my first camera 🤍

That little Sony Cybershot changed my life - but not as much as my Dad's belief in me. Long before anyone could even imagine paying me to capture their wedding or their newborn's first smile, he saw something in my unsteady shots of the ocean, and in those slightly-blurred images of my Mum sitting quietly by the window. All that my photography has become, I owe to my Dad... and every single photography I take, I take to make him proud.
