Jake & Lauryn Stevens ❤️

A beautiful country wedding that was done so right! nothing felt rushed or overly formal, it was simply a really relaxed afternoon spent with all their favourite people. Jake & Lauryn have made their home in the Northern Territory, raising Hugh and Rory on the property, so coming back to Queensland to be married at the Elite Rodeo Grounds in Townsville brought together friends and family from right across Australia. I absolutely loved that they chose an earlier ceremony too; instead of disappearing for photos straight afterwards, they got to grab a drink, catch up with everyone and actually enjoy the celebrations before we snuck away later for a few photos. And beautiful Lauren looked absolutely incredible, such a gorgeous bride, and clearly one very happy lady to finally be marrying her Jake! A huge congrats again Mr & Mrs Stevens!

Peter & Jayde Copping ❤️

From the very beginning, Jayde and Pete said they didn’t want to get caught up in the little things, they wanted their wedding to be one big, relaxed, fun celebration and they absolutely nailed it. Set at the beautiful Hedlow Retreat near Yeppoon, there were plenty of cocktails (possibly one too many 😂), plenty of laughs, cowboy hats and awesome dance moves! Everything that a good country wedding should be! Most people are probably more used to seeing Jayde in jeans and boots, so I think she well and truly blew everyone away when she stepped out in that stunning lace gown and veil..she looked absolutely incredible. With Pete a helicopter pilot and Jayde a horse trainer, and both coming from families with strong rural backgrounds, it really felt like the perfect joining of two beautiful country families. And like it was said in one of the groomsmen’s speeches… the compass was invented before a clock, because direction is more important then the time it takes to get there, and these two are certainly headed in the right direction together! A huge congrats again Mr & Mrs Copping!!

The Chopping Family ❤️

Three generations, one beautiful family, and such a fun afternoon spent with beautiful mumma Crystal, Ash and Pat. This session was so easy from start to finish, plenty of laughs, a little bit of sibling chaos, and so many lovely moments in between. It was extra special having Grandma join us too, making these photos something I know will only become more precious with time. Such a genuinely beautiful family and an absolute pleasure to have in front of my camera!

The Hudson Family ❤️

It was so lovely having the Hudson family back in front of my camera, the last time I photographed Jake, Kaila and Peyton together, little Peyton was only one year old!! I have to make special mention of Kaila because the hair envy is very real… those long blonde locks, beautiful blue eyes and stunning features make her an absolute dream to photograph. Peyton is clearly following in Mum’s footsteps too, with that gorgeous little face and personality to match. Jake you sure are a lucky man!!

Baby Ralph ❤️

I first met Billy and Dayna two years ago when I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding, so it was pretty special to catch up with them again. But this time not as bride and groom but as Mum and Dad to little Ralph. And honestly, could they have made a cuter kid?! Those big blue eyes, that cheeky little grin and a toothy smile that barely left his face had me completely won over. Ralph is quite possibly one of the happiest and cuddliest little fellas I’ve photographed, and I think that says a whole lot about the two beautiful people he gets to call Mum and Dad. ❤️

Rhett & Kim Lamperd ❤️

These two had been crossing paths for years…same small town, same high school, plenty of chances! but apparently it took a little interference from Kim’s friends playing wingmen to finally get things moving! Fast forward a few years, 7.5 to be exact and they’ve built a beautiful life together in Weipa, and this weekend it was finally time to make it official. And can we talk about Kim for a minute…STUNNER!!! she honestly looked like she had stepped straight out of a bridal magazine… absolutely stunning! Their wedding at a Wilderness Lodge, the orchids, at Biboora north of Mareeba, had all the makings of a beautiful country wedding, with wide open grassy paddocks, a gorgeous big dam and a full moon rising over it all to add a little extra magic. Then once the formalities were done, this crew certainly knew how to celebrate!! plenty of laughs, plenty of dancing, plenty of tequila shots and one seriously fun night to finish off an awesome day!

Five weeks of little Maverick Levi 💙 and it looks like there’s already a new farmer in training! With Dad showing him the ropes, lots of Mumma snuggles and big sister Paisley completely smitten with her new role, I’d say this little man has landed himself a pretty great crew. And can we talk about that incredible full head of hair? When the afternoon sun caught it just right, there was the sweetest little hint of red shining through ..just too cute. Such a beautiful afternoon capturing this gorgeous family and their newest little farm boy.

An afternoon that my dreams are made of! Stunning light, pretty horses And excitement is in the air with Baby Currie on the way!! At 32 weeks, beautiful mum-to-be Georgie is absolutely glowing! With Jed and Georgie as Mum and Dad, I don’t think there’s much doubt this little bubba will be in boots and horseback before we know it!

Brandon + Georgia Beck 🤍

What a day! Set against the incredible ocean views at Ambrym Estate, Brandon and Georgia’s wedding was one of those days where everything just came together…beautiful weather, amazing food, the best company and a bridal party who brought plenty of fun and energy.

Georgia had woven so many thoughtful little details throughout the day, but the first look with her grandparents was definitely one that pulled at the heartstrings. She had also secretly added baby photos of herself with her dad and grandparents to the inside of their ties — such a beautiful surprise and a detail I’d never seen at a wedding before.

From the emotional moments to the confetti, champagne tower, plenty of laughs and a gorgeous afternoon light to finish it all off, this was an absolutely incredible celebration of two pretty wonderful people. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Beck! ❤️

It’s always special when everyone manages to come together, and even more so when there’s a brand new little family member to celebrate…beautiful baby Harvey Dale, with Walter very proudly stepping into his new role as big brother. Life gets busy and families grow, which makes taking the time to capture everyone together all the more important. A family I hold very dear, and a gallery that means just that little bit extra to me. 🤍
