JHarris

JHarris A place to showcase my favorite work from some of the places I visit. My name is James and am JHarris Photography.

I don't call myself a professional and I don't shoot weddings, I just like the art of photography and have done ever since I bought my first 35mm film camera at age 11, my Minolta XG2. I love to be able to see something beautiful or inspiring and be able to preserve it as I see it, to be able to stop time for future generations to see what we all sometimes take for granted. I seem to gravitate tow

ards the weather and I love night photography, especially with the moon as the main light source . Landscapes lit by the moon, give a powerful presence.

This area of the Strzelecki Ranges was completely logged out in the 1920s and is home to quite a few big gum trees in this cool temperate rain forest that's slowly clawing it's way back.
