Colors of Time – The Candy Cane Mountains

Nestled in the arid landscapes of Azerbaijan, the Candy Cane Mountains get their name from the striking red and white streaks that ripple across their surface like swirls of sugar.

Rich in iron and other minerals, these layered sedimentary rocks have been slowly shaped by wind, water, and time—revealing a geological story millions of years in the making.

A surreal yet natural masterpiece carved into the earth.

Sunset House 🏠

While shooting the sunset near the candy cane mountain, there was a tiny house that caught my attention. The light was perfectly falling on the house.

The sunstar again added the depth for the frame. And its now my favorite way to capture frames with sun 🌞

Sunstar!

When we were in Khinaliq, Azerbaijan. I saw this small hut in the middle of this beautiful mountain view.

Though the light was harsh and there was plenty of time for sunset. So, I took advantage of this hut to make a sunstar peekaboo.

I framed my composition in a way where I can see the light just so it will form the sunstar and the mountains in the background.

Mountain Majesty

A majestic mountain range of Khinaliq in Azerbaijan, under a vibrant blue sky, with wisps of fluffy white clouds casting soft shadows on the rugged peaks.

The untouched landscape made me think there is so much to explore in this world.

A walk in green

The art of reflection.

I found this cute little pond in this Myriophyllum plant with calm and still water, and because the water is still, it made the reflection of this plant very clear!
