Већ 22 године Козара етно фестивал његује традицију и обичаје Поткозарја, чувајући од заборава богато културно насљеђе нашег краја.

Сваке године кроз игру, пјесму и сценске приказе оживљава се дио традиције који је обликовао живот бројних генерација.

Овогодишња тема фестивала били су Васкршњи обичаји - приказ вјере, породичног заједништва и обичаја који су се преносили с кољена на кољено.

For 22 years, the Kozara Ethno Festival has been preserving the traditions and customs of the Potkozarje region, safeguarding the rich cultural heritage of our homeland. 🥚❤️

Each year, through dance, song and stage performances, the festival brings to life a part of the tradition that has shaped the lives of generations.

This year's festival theme was Easter customs – a portrayal of faith, family togetherness and traditions passed down from generation to generation.

Када се сусретну различите културе, језици и обичаји, а све их повеже љубав према традицији – настају тренуци који се памте. ❤️

Управо такву причу и ове године исписао је КУД „Пискавица“, организатор 22. Козара етно фестивала. Током три фестивалска дана, Пискавица и Бања Лука били су мјеста сусрета, нових пријатељстава и размјене културног насљеђа.

Ансамбли из Мексика, Србије и БиХ донијели су на сцену дио традиције свог народа, показујући да фолклор нема границе.

Хвала свима који су били дио овогодишњег фестивала и својим присуством, наступима и подршком допринијели да ова прича настави да живи. Погледајте дио атмосфере 22. Козара етно фестивала. ✨🎶

When different cultures, languages and traditions come together, united by a love for heritage – unforgettable moments are created. ❤️

This year, the Cultural and Artistic Society “Piskavica” once again told such a story as the organiser of the 22nd Kozara Ethno Festival.

Over three festival days, Piskavica and Banja Luka became places of connection, new friendships and the exchange of cultural heritage. Ensembles from Mexico, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina brought a part of their traditions to the stage, showing that folklore knows no borders.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this year’s festival and who, through their presence, performances and support, helped this story continue to live.

The 22nd Kozara Ethno Festival, organized by KUD “Piskavica”, once again showed that folklore, song, and music are not just memories of the past, but a bond that connects people, cultures, and generations.

We enjoyed performances by ensembles and individuals from Mexico, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, who brought the richness of their cultural heritage through dance, song, and traditional music. A special highlight of this year’s festival was the stage story dedicated to Easter, which brought to life one of the most significant holidays of Orthodoxy.

22. Козара етно фестивал, у организацији КУД-а „Пискавица“, још једном је показао да фолклор, пјесма и музика нису само успомене на прошлост, већ веза која спаја људе, културе и генерације.

Уживали смо у наступима ансамбала и појединаца из Мексика, Србије и БиХ, који су кроз игру, пјесму и традиционалну музику донијели богатство свог културног насљеђа. Посебан печат овогодишњем фестивалу дала је сценска прича посвећена Васкрсу, која је оживјела један од најзначајнијих празника православља.

From July 3 to 5, Piskavica and Banja Luka will become a meeting place of tradition, culture, and friendship. 🌿🎶 At the 22nd Kozara Ethno Festival, a proud member of the global CIOFF family, visitors can enjoy performances by guests from Mexico, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with a rich program of folklore, authentic traditional songs and music, folk customs, an ethno market, and unique stage performances that bring our cultural heritage to life. 🌍

What the Kozara Ethno Festival has been creating and preserving for years is best reflected in the words of Prof. Dr. Irena Medar, ethnologist:

"Cultural heritage is not what we inherited from our ancestors, but what we have managed to preserve for future generations."

This year's festival theme is "Easter Customs" 🥚, which will be presented through a stage performance.

"The Kozara Ethno Festival is an important event dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional culture and intangible cultural heritage. Its unique value lies in the field research conducted every year, with the aim of rescuing different aspects of tradition, customs, and folk life from being forgotten. Based on the collected material, these customs are documented and described before being transformed into stage performances, ensuring that traditional heritage is not only preserved but also actively passed on to new generations. Through the presentation of folk customs, music, dance, handicrafts, and traditional gastronomy, the festival contributes to preserving cultural identity, raising awareness of the importance of cultural heritage, and encouraging intercultural dialogue founded on respect for tradition," added Prof. Dr. Irena Medar.

📍 In Piskavica, on July 3, the festival begins at 7:00 PM with the ceremonial parade of participants. On July 5, Banja Luka will come alive from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM with street performances and the vibrant festival atmosphere in the city centre. On both days, the program continues with performances by participants from two continents. 🎻👣

Од 3. до 5. јула Пискавица и Бања Лука постају мјесто сусрета традиције, културе и пријатељства. 🌿🎶

На 22. Козара етно фестивалу, који је дио велике CIOFF породице, очекују вас гости из Мексика, Србије и Босне и Херцеговине, богат програм фолклора, изворне пјесме, традиционалне музике, народних обичаја, етно тржнице и јединствени сценски прикази који оживљавају наше насљеђе. 🌍

Оно што Козара етно фестивал годинама ствара и чува најбоље осликавају ријечи проф. др Ирене Медар, етнолога:

„Културно насљеђе није оно што смо наслиједили од предака, већ оно што смо успјели сачувати за потомке.“

Тема овогодишњег Фестивала су „Васкршњи обичаји“ 🥚 који ће бити представљени кроз сценски приказ.

„Козара етно фестивал представља значајну манифестацију посвећену очувању и промоцији традиционалне културе и нематеријалног културног насљеђа. Његова посебна вриједност огледа се у теренским истраживањима која се спроводе сваке године, с циљем да се од заборава отргне неки сегмент традиције, обичаја и народног живота. На основу прикупљене грађе врши се документовање и описивање обичаја, а затим се припрема њихов сценски приказ, чиме се традиционално насљеђе не само чува већ и активно преноси новим генерацијама. Кроз представљање народних обичаја, музике, игре, рукотворина и традиционалне гастрономије, фестивал доприноси очувању културног идентитета, јачању свијести о значају културног насљеђа и подстиче међукултурни дијалог заснован на поштовању традиције“, додала је проф. др Ирена Медар.

📍 У Пискавици 3. јула фестивал почиње свечаним окупљањем и дефилеом учесника у 19 часова, док ће Бања Лука 5. јула од 19 до 20 часова оживјети кроз уличне наступе и фестивалску атмосферу у центру града. Оба дана програм се наставља наступима учесника са два континента. 🎻👣

Програм је планиран у Бањој Луци на Тргу Српских владара, с тим да ће у случају кише посљедњи дан Фестивала бити у Спортској дворани „Центар".
