Kartik-er Batashe is a story of silence & memories and unspoken feelings.
As the cold wind of Kartik arrives, old emotions return with it.
This is the first production of Move On Studio, where we aim to tell small-town stories with cinematic visuals and heartfelt storytelling.

কার্তিকের বাতাসে ঠান্ডা যেনো একটু বেশিই ছিল,
‎মনে হয় শীতের আগমন সে বছর আগেই হয়েছিল—
‎হঠাৎ পাঁজরে অনুভূত হয়,
‎পুরনো স্মৃতিগুলোও পূর্বের শীতলতা নিয়ে ফিরে এসেছে।
‎যেখানে নিজস্ব খেয়ালে মেয়েটি কখনো চায়নি ফিরে আসতে,
‎আর একরোখা ছেলেটি কখনো দেয়নি ভুলে যাওয়ার প্রতিশ্রুতি।
‎
‎তবুও তাদের গল্প হারিয়ে যাচ্ছিল
‎শব্দ এবং অনুভূতির মধ্যে।
‎এভাবেই দু’জনের প্রণয়ের গল্প
‎নৈসর্গিক কথকতা আর সংবেদনশীল অনুভূতি—
‎প্রেক্ষাপট বদলে মর্মান্তিক রূপ নিলো।
‎সে বরাবরের মতোই শঙ্কিত ছিল—
‎এই আগমনী শীতের বাতাস
‎যদি কখনো তাদের প্রণয় ও তাদের যাপিত সময়ের কথা মনে করিয়ে দেয়?
‎অন্যমনস্ক হয়ে মেয়েটা ভাবতো—
‎হাওয়ার ঝাপটা কি এখনো
‎ছেলেটাকে তার অস্তিত্ব উপলব্ধি করায়?
‎পুরনো গানগুলো তাকেও কি অস্থিরতা তাড়া করে যে গানে মেয়েটি হাতড়ে বেড়াতো তার কথা
‎যেই মুহূর্তটা শুধুমাত্র
‎দু’জনের জন্যই সংরক্ষিত ছিলো?
‎
‎অতঃপর স্মৃতিরা ধূসর হতে থাকে
‎নিঃশেষ হওয়া ঋণের মতো…
‎ধীরে, নমনীয়তায়—
‎যেনো এক শূন্য হাহাকারের অন্ধকার ভেদ করে,
‎শেষ প্রতিশ্রুতি নিয়ে
‎গড়িয়ে নামছে
‎কুয়াশাচ্ছন্ন, শুভ্র সকাল।
