So much a blob of colour can do;
Be it bringing back a distinct memory of your favourite popsicle you shared with a best-friend on a distant summer, or the tiny flowers you once collected from the hike up your local hill. I took a hot minute to see this picture through, to check whether it wins at sending the message of the purpose of what this account stands by: Pictures being strong enough to tell a story.

It spoke of revival to me, with strength and head held up high. The freshness of the greens are the breath of fresh air, the redness- your fierce soul that will never give up. The calmness from the withered tomatoes that went simmered for hours to give the best of flavours, that you do when you’re at your best self surrounded with the right kinda people.

So much about food that resonates soul and human beings. Both, the best of worlds. I love human beings. But what I love more about them is the special value they hold, each beautiful in their own way.
The revivals, bringing the shine of soul ever so beautifully. No giving up, just moving forth with fierceness shining through.✨

The gratitude for this world.🤝

Pour your privilege where it’s needed.
Crispy Paneer Taco w/ Salsa Fresca, Mustard Mint Aioli, Pickled Onions,
Chicken Taco w Honey-Lime Aioli, Pickled Carrots, Cilantro Relish.
This feels like a good time to actually reflect upon, and appreciate the little-big things we take for granted.
I kept my tacos w less toppings to resonate the vicious cycle of providing privileges to the ones w heaps of it, whilst averting eyes to the ones living under.
Pour the salsa where it’ll valued, not where it doesn’t need more of.
Rather than serving to tables where there’s no space left for additions, take a second to shift your attention to those which are empty, and ones who are struggling to meet ends, starving. Give where it’s needed.
What will only be an added bonus for the ones w privilege of access to it, will be call of survival for many who are struggling with having to afford one meal a day.
Spread kindness and help people out as much as you can.
Let’s take a few steps back, look through things that are around, reflect, eye deeper into priorities for what’s really important.

Used Paneer and honey from & absolutely loved them. I grew up having honey from honeycomb, & this honey in particular is one of the bests I’ve had that comes bottled (read real). The paneer was amazing, w/o any compromise on quality. Speaks volume for integrity.

I feel fortunate to make it into another Ramadan, Alhamdulillah. But times have been harder.
May this Ramadan heal us all from within, and make it easier for everyone.
May Allah enable us to make the best of it and accept all our prayers.
With hopes and prayers to be better altogether, holding brighter days ahead.
Remember me & my family in your prayers.🤍

The foldings of Croissant, to resonate my unfolding of self-awareness.
In the last couple of days, I’ve come in terms w not pinning feelings to be present at certain situation, feeling my real feelings albeit sometimes it comes at the cost of letting loved ones down.
Being hurt doesn’t give anyone the allowance of hurting others. But simultaneously, I know if I’m down, it’s just almost written all over my face (only readable to close ones). So I chose to rather stay away from them, avoid human interactions when things tear apart, which mostly means emotional over-exhaustion.
Some moments pass by which never return. So I’ve never let situations get overlapped, trial of one to affect the other moment, precisely the negatives ruining some different time.
But now that the sticky situation was rather important than the others, it didn’t make sense to participate at something where I could barely feel the spirit or just not acknowledge my actual emotions. And I chose to not feel guilty about it.
What I rather took solace in was, self reflection and mindfulness. Everyone of us are allowed to feel how we feel, and it’s also okay to not always stand up to expectations. It’s fine to choose yourself and well-beings. It’s my act of self love, self care, along with mindfulness. I accept my flaws, reflect upon it, learn to forgive myself when having made mistakes, letting go off the past, be a better human being every day, and continuing to love myself more: which adds to the process of Self Love, which isn’t always bubble baths & scented candles and sometimes feel harder than it looks.

Just wanted to keep it here as a part of my journey of personal Zen to remind self later when needed to acknowledge actual feelings, & catching up w good thoughts to align it (or if YOU need it,too).

Be kind. Love with open hearts, yourself & others!🤍

Don’t be the reason someone chooses to leave the art they are into.
Art & artistes come in various forms. There’s no “rule” to art. Quality maintenance of it is a thing when that art comes in term with contract of serving. But there’s no right & wrong in art, it’s a way of expression, tied by free will.
But serving opens door to pool of criticism. There’re a lot of differences between constructive criticism & downright degradation.
Appreciation helps out, but works quite the opposite when otherwise.
Constructive Criticism is not oppositional, & has role of compassion w humility filling in. Of course there’s always room for improvement that keeps it fuelled. But degradation rather burns hard work, stirs down the whole process which takes a lot that stays concealed behind closed doors.
With such degradation, seeps in self-doubt & forces one to stop carrying on w their art calculating they might not be “good enough”.
A word of destruction that one might spew as casually, can actually result in shattered dreams, barren hard work, and waste of all the accumulated confidence that takes one years to concede; letting go of doing smth a person loves while having the luck of making it bigger.
Please be more empathic & kind while you’re criticising an artiste (artist, singer, chef, dancer, comedian, et al) (and also in general), & don’t shove degradation in the name of constructive criticism, for the latter builds it better while the former destroys.
Your mere words can be the reason one leaves the art they are into.
And if you’re the artiste, if the person spewing that degrading “criticism” doesn’t matter, don’t let their words affect you either & DO YOU, spread your magic!✨

Amazingg Tiramisu from also THE BEST (in terms of both taste & textures) that I’ve had in Ctg! If you’re a dessert person, you gotta try them out!

All sales of WOMPLINGS from 19th-23rd May’21 process in aid of Palestine.

Now that the embassy has opened ways to help & donate directly to the Palestinians, I couldn’t just sit idly to it. I am are grateful to have been given a chance to do more than sharing awareness posts and we plan to do the most use out of this.

Since the beginning, I’ve focused on building my brands in a way that leaves a great impact in society, support the greater causes. I’ve only served tables & fed the ones in need rather than adding more to the already privileged ones that I’ve put further emphasis on having more people at it. Grateful to be where we are.

All the sales from will thereby be proceeded at aiding the sufferers. Int’l orders are open through PayPal transactions+others.

It breaks my heart everyday to see such sufferings. May Almighty heal & protect us all. It is very little & the least we can do.
The entire team of stands in solidarity.

Orders open every day for our entire menu.

Soup, guys? (Pun intended)🍜
I for one am not a big fan of soups. If not TomYum, or w Wontons/udon; I’d easily let it slide by & pass.

A little prayer for the ones struggling, feeling under the weather, or just suffering in silence- don’t steam or gulp it by yourself. You’re not alone. Take the break, be easy on self, call a friend & talk it out.

Taking breaks are just as important as working hard, and neither of the two has alternatives. I’ve never come in terms w how rests or breaks are always needed to be backed by reasoning to term as “needs”.
Responding positively to that inner voice of taking a step back, putting the foot down & resting w/o burdens of running in the constant conveyer belt screaming work is a healthy choice; that falls under self-care (or that it must, dare I say). It doesn’t make anyone less committed to plans.
Sometimes our bodies need the break from burnouts. Reflect & remind self of the power you hold. It realigns the whole system & makes us more driven, keeps us centred rather than drained from all the crashing. If fills us so we can pour into this world.
As much as burnouts & sweats are glorified, we need to normalise the need & habit of healthy breaks who are just as important.
Breaks don’t need to be backed by reasoning, to feel less guilty/better about them. If it’s a break, call it & feel good about having chosen self & filling the load of self-care w love, for thats a far more win which no one talks about.

Mental & physical health matters everyday. You matter, everyday.🤍

Jalebi/Jilapee/Jelabee;
The debate would keep going on, if caught over the strand. But whatever you decide to call it, these little delicacies has been a favourite part of my iftar for as long as I can remember.

Which is your favourite kind of Jalebi/Jilapee, and why is it chikon ones?💁🏽‍♀️ Crunchy exterior, dipped in sugar syrup w ghee, tied along the twists of it, was harder to get the shapes of, than I ever thought. But then again, these would be the only twisted things I’d vouch for.

Alongside, in this holy month, let us all avert our eyes from all the negative cycle going around, and move with dignity wherever we go. There’s no win at putting others down. No one can ever elevate themselves by bringing others under some pile of dirt. You see, when you tend to do that, you touch the pile of dirt and end up dirtying your own hands only.

I hope and pray Almighty drives every soul to the right path. May we all have a blessed Ramadan, w secured holiness this month holds. Rather than digging out negativities, please focus on the bright side, live on tabs of forgiveness, and let happiness make its way in.🤍
Hatred and negativity can never win, over warmth of love and goodwills. Latch those tighter, and we’ll score at building a better place!✨ I didn’t intend to put food pictures during this whole month; but this was too easy to not share! (Link in bio) 🤷🏽‍♀️
Also, thank youu for guiding me to the Ghee trails!😁

12/01/2021

There is no alternative to hard-work, but at the same time there’s nothing wrong w/ taking a step back sometimes to de-clutter & gather thoughts together.
“Success” is a very subjective term. But there are certain objectives that lie down the same line. Be it business, achieving the goal, relationships, real life- there’s no alternative to that.
However, taking healthy breaks are important too.
Glorifying burnouts is a choice, so is taking time off to fuel selves up.
As much as the constant circulation of being on-toes, sweating & tearing, draining off energy would speak for commitment to plans, taking a break to get thoughts together in order to fuel up will, too. For sometimes, working towards the goal can also mean shutting off the grinding for a couple of days, going out for a walk, reading a book, or simply binging on chips & Netflix w/ no worries burdening shoulders (& w/o guilt tripping on it).
Your life, you define things for self. No one else should be equating that.
When we’re working to get something off the ground & make it fly, it takes a lot. But what’s unfortunate is doing it out of pressure, rather than alignment & when we beat selves up to reach “there”.
Responding positively to that inner voice of taking that step back is healthy, & doesn’t make anyone less committed to plans.
Sometimes our bodies need the break for constant burnouts. Reflect on all the achievements & remind self of the power you hold. It realigns the whole system & makes us more driven, keeps us centred rather than drained from all the constant crashing. If fills us so we can pour into this world.
Be kind to self & define subjectives aligning your own thoughts. Take that break when needed. You matter.

Chicken Salad w grilled oranges & 6-min egg.
I love runny yolk, & somehow they resonate letting go off for me, almost like bursting the bubble & pouring out; the breakdowns over bottled feeling for the issue being too small to whine over.
It feels weird to let go off 2020, which felt almost nonexistent, yet w too much going on.
For sometime, I shielded myself shutting eyes to acknowledge the real feelings, reminding self people having it worse.
I am grateful for every bit, but also there were times when things seemed to slip off.
It’s always important to feel how we feel & acknowledge the actual state, regardless of what’s going on around. The denial, for they seemed smaller compared to what went on for the rest of the world isn’t the healthiest.
It’s just as okay to grief, to acknowledge the feelings and grief so it doesn’t burden one from within rather bottling up, & forcing into looking at it differently.
We’re all allowed to grief & acknowledge every feeling that we have. Not everything (NOTHING) needs comparison.
Even in the middle of a pandemic, we’re allowed & it’s okay to feel bad about cancelled plans, staying away from families, not getting to see friends, missing pre-covid self, or not getting the desired grades.
We’re a universe on our own, & we build it by ourselves w our set of thoughts.
This New Year, I pray we all build it w love, self care, kindness, happiness, possibilities, wins, laughter, w a side of having the strength of acknowledging real feelings & flying through them ending the grief of it.
Things don’t always go as planned, but the glimmers of hope of having it better than anticipated makes it all worthwhile & turns in the Law Of Attraction.
Live like the Universe is rigged to work in favour of you (-Rumi)!✨
It’s the year to be grateful, but we’re all allowed to feel what we feel.
Happy Festivities!
