There, ahead of us,
A life awaits.
Terrifyingly beautiful. Or...terrifying.
But the sky looks pretty today.
A life awaits ahead of us
But the kid smiled at me today.
The other two kids
Kissed the cheeks
of the father today.
Today, three flowers bloomed
In my garden. Violet and beautiful.
So, I listened to a beautiful song today.
Today, someone called me pretty.
And I, too, have seen something pretty.
The pretty sky from earlier today.
But today, I'm terrified
For the life
That awaits, there,
Ahead of us.
Terrifying. Or, terrifyingly beautiful.
