The Qutub Minar is a towering masterpiece of Mughal architecture located in Delhi, India. Built in the 12th century during the reign of Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the tower stands at a height of 73 meters and is made up of five storeys adorned with intricate carvings and inscriptions in Arabic and Persian. The first three storeys are built of red sandstone, while the top two are made of marble and sandstone. The complex also houses several other historical monuments, including the Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque, the Alai Darwaza gate, and the Tomb of Iltutmish. The Qutub Minar is a popular tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
