đ Shanta Holdings has completed and handed over Pinnacle, Bangladeshâs first 40-storey skyscraper in Dhaka. Standing 500 feet tall in Tejgaon, the tower sets a new standard for commercial real estate in the country. The handover ceremony, held on the 40th floor, was attended by key officials, including Managing Director Khondoker Monir Uddin, landowners, clients, and architect Ehsan Khan. This marks a major milestone in Bangladeshâs real estate sector, demonstrating a shift in construction scale and capability.
đą Pinnacle is an example of sustainable and resilient design. The building has earned LEED Platinum certification and includes advanced features like fire safety systems compliant with the latest NFPA standards, earthquake-resistant structural design, and energy-efficient systems. It also incorporates a 6.8 COP centrifugal chiller, MERV 13 air filtration, and offers the fastest vertical mobility in Bangladesh, with eight lifts operating at 4 meters per second. The building's façade features 36 mm thick unitized glazing, and it is the first wind tunnel-tested building in the country to enhance its structural stability. Additionally, a 7-day slab cycle using aluminum formwork enabled accelerated construction, achieving the fastest civil construction in the industry. The entire building is also driven by a fully integrated Building Management System (iBMS), ensuring operational intelligence and live monitoring of all assets.
