On April 11, PCRC marked a graceful return with the first photowalk of Season 8, reuniting its vibrant community alongside the Founding President and distinguished alumni.

The day unfolded with the hosts welcoming everyone to the Photowalk and marking the beginning of it. Workshops and a competitive showcase inspired by the session was held, celebrating creativity, learning, and excellence through recognition of the winner. Adding to the significance of the occasion, certificates were formally awarded to the winners of "Ramadan Tales", honouring their visual storytelling throughout the holy month.

Besides, members were rightly enjoying themselves through the art of photography. In a heartfelt finale, anonymous notes from members were shared which were read by the Presidential Panel, offering genuine reflections that resonated across the gathering and fostered a deeper sense of connection.

With these meaningful moments, the first photowalk of Season 8 was elegantly brought to a close.

It's finally here!

The Photography Club of Rouf College (PCRC) is delighted to announce the first PhotoWalk of the season, set to take place on Saturday, 11 April 2026. This initiative is designed to offer our members a dynamic platform to explore their creativity, sharpen their skills, and engage in hands-on learning through real-life experiences. It also provides a valuable opportunity to connect with club seniors and build meaningful relationships within the community. Throughout the PhotoWalk, participants will take part in multiple interactive sessions led by experienced people, focusing on fundamental club related skills and practical techniques. As we move through different locations, there will also be discussions that blend photography with elements of history and storytelling, making the experience both educational and immersive. In addition, the event will feature engaging segments dedicated to learning new concepts and skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Members will have the chance to exchange ideas, collaborate, draw pictures, and capture memorable moments through their mediums, making this PhotoWalk not just an event, but an experience to remember

All interested members are encouraged to take part in this engaging and creative activity and they are welcome to bring any and every item (i.e. dslr, mirrorless, digicam, gimbal, canvas, paint & brushes, sketchbook etc) related to our club. Your presence and participation will contribute to making this event successful.

Water is life. It sustains almost every living force on our planet earth. From the smallest seed to the vast oceans, from our daily routines to entire ecosystems, everything depends on this one simple, irreplaceable resource.

Across the world, millions wake up each day not knowing if they will have access to clean, safe water. What is a basic necessity for some remains a daily struggle for others. While taps run endlessly in one place, people walk miles for a single container in another. Multiple countries in Asia, Africa, and Middle East face the lack of safe, clean water.

Water nourishes, it heals, it connects and yet, we so easily take it for granted. Let this March 22nd "World Water Day", be more than just a reminder-- let it be a turning point. Choose to be mindful in every drop you use, every habit you build, and every change you inspire.

The submission period for the photography contest - “Ramadan Tales” has officially come to an end. We sincerely thank all participants for sharing their beautiful and meaningful moments of Ramadan through their lenses.

The winners will be officially announced at our upcoming offline event, where they will also be honored with certificates in recognition of their outstanding work.

On this day, we celebrate the countless ways women shape our world. A woman cannot be defined by a single role- she is a dreamer, a creator, a guide, and a quiet source of strength that holds families and communities together. Often, her power appears in gentle forms. In patience, kindness, resilience, and care. Through every season of life, women continue to grow and bloom, bringing warmth, wisdom, and hope to the world around them. Today is a reminder to honor their journeys and the many stories of courage and perseverance that inspire us every day.

But celebration must also come with reflection. Respect for women should not exist only in words or on a single day. It must be reflected in our actions every day. A truly strong society is one where women can live freely, safely, and with equal opportunity to follow their dreams. When girls grow up knowing their voices matter and their futures are limitless, the entire world moves forward with them. Progress is not measured by promises, but by the reality women experience in their daily lives.

At a time when rising cases of violence and assault in Bangladesh continue to shock and sadden our communities, this day must also be a call for change. No celebration feels complete while fear and injustice still exist. Every woman deserves safety, dignity, and the freedom to live without fear. Real change begins when society refuses to stay silent; when we stand against violence, support survivors, and demand accountability.

একুশ মানে মাথা নত না করা। ১৯৫২-এর সেই উত্তাল দিনগুলোতে আমাদের বীর সন্তানদের আত্মত্যাগের বিনিময়ে অর্জিত হয়েছে এই প্রিয় বাংলা ভাষা। যে বর্ণমালার জন্য রাজপথ রঞ্জিত হয়েছিল তরুণ প্রাণের তাজা রক্তে, সেই ত্যাগের মহিমা আজও আমাদের হৃদয়ের ক্যানভাসে অম্লান।

An Online Photography Event exclusively for the Members of PCRC Season 8.

Ramadan is not just a month, it is a collection of beautiful moments, emotions, and spiritual reflections. From the vibrant iftar hat and bustling markets to the serenity of prayers, acts of kindness, and heartfelt gatherings, every frame tells a story. Through this contest, we invite you to capture the true essence of Ramadan and showcase its beauty through your lens.

Let your photographs narrate emotions, traditions, and memories. Stories that live within the spirit of Ramadan.

• Rules & Regulations:

1. All photographs must be captured and owned by the participant.
2. Each participant may submit up to five photographs.
3. Entries containing explicit, or inappropriate content will be rejected.
4. Any and every submission must follow the general rules of our official Facebook group.
5. Photographs must be free from watermarks, borders, and date/time stamps.
6. HDR photography is not permitted.
7. Advanced digital manipulation is not allowed
8. Subtle post-processing (exposure, contrast, shadows, highlights) is allowed.
9. Only one photograph per participant can secure a winning position (others may receive Honourable Mentions).
10. Last Date of Submission: 10th March, Tuesday
