Congratulations JCI Dhaka West for successfully completed their JCI Dhaka West: 20 Years of Active Citizenship. We are the Documentation Partner of JCI Dhaka West for the year of 2018. It's a great opportunity to work with a leading Social Organization like JCI.

On 19th October 2018, JCI Dhaka West celebrated its 20 years of Active citizenship at Long Beach Suites, Dhaka. JCI Dhaka West is a chapter of JCI Bangladesh. JCI is a worldwide membership-based nonprofit organization of young active citizens’ ages 18 to 40 who are dedicated to creating positive change in their communities. Through projects in 5,000 communities across more than 100 countries, members seek targeted solutions to local problems, creating a global impact. JCI Dhaka West is one of the founding chapters of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Bangladesh. JCI Dhaka West was founded in 1998 and has been serving the community since then.
The event started with the Mime performance from Mir Lokman, founder of Dhaka University Mime Action. As the event progressed, reminiscence from past Presidents of JCI Dhaka West brought out the history and pride of the active citizenship they have fostered for last 20 years. Among dignitaries, present were, Senator Waqar Ahmad Choudhury, Chairman of Advisory Council, JCI Bangladesh (2002 National President, JCI Bangladesh & 2004 JCI Global Vice President), Senator Safina Rahman (2005 President, JCI Bangladesh), Senator S. Rumi Saifullah (2006 President, JCI Bangladesh), Senator Dr. Muzharul Mannan, Senator Chowdhury Mahib Ekram, Syed Fakhruzzaman, Humaira Afreen & Senator Fayaz Atiqul Islam (2018 National President, JCI Bangladesh). 2017 President of JCI Dhaka West Ziaul Haque & 2018 President of JCI Dhaka West Mehedi Hossain were also present in the ceremony.
The members were presented with multiple awards throughout the event for their commitments and performance in the society. Prior to the event General Assembly of JCI Dhaka West took place and Abdullah Safi was elected at the local president for 2019 along with other board Members.
The magazine partner for the event was Ice Business Times, Gift Partner was Fashion Optics Ltd, Documentation Partner was The Gallery, Radio Partner was Dhaka FM 90.4, Media Partners were the Daily Samakal, Channel 24 and Dhaka Tribune.
