3. Designer’s Dislike for Motorcycles: Corradino D’Ascanio, the engineer behind the Vespa, actually disliked traditional motorcycles. He aimed to create a cleaner, more user-friendly vehicle, leading to the Vespa’s unique design with a step-through frame and enclosed engine1.
