đŠđĒSouthern Germany has become the most popular region for German tourists because of Lake KÃļnigssee, Neuschwanstein Castle, fairytale towns, the Alps, and the Black Forest.
đRecommended route: Frankfurt â WÃŧrzburg â Rothenburg â Nuremberg â Munich â King's Lake â Neuschwanstein Castle â Black Forest Town â Baden-Baden â Heidelberg â Frankfurt
đRecommended days:
đŠđĒFrankfurt: 1~3 nights, downtown + shopping malls require a full day. If you have more time, you can combine it with a one-day tour of Mainz and Hanau
đŠđĒWÃŧrzburg: 1~2 nights, the city castle and other attractions can be visited in one day, but if you want to roam + go shopping, you can arrange one more day. After all, there are many markets, restaurants, and shops around the attractions, which are the most interesting places
đŠđĒRothenburg: 1~2 nights, the city is very small, and it can be played in one day, but it is really cute and easy to take pictures. The best pace is to stay for several days and cook in the B&B, feel this town, and walk around the vineyards
đŠđĒNuremberg: 1~2 nights, castle + It takes at least 1.5 days to visit the entire city.
đŠđĒMunich: 1~4 nights. The attractions in Munich depend on your interest. If you just walk around the old town and drink beer, you can actually finish it in one day. But if you are very interested in the BWM Museum and the castle, you need to stay at least four nights to complete the tour.
đŠđĒKingssee: 2~Unlimited days. As long as you have enough budget, it is strongly recommended to stay in Kingssee for a week. There are so many attractions to visit in the entire national park. The beauty here is not enough for a few nights!
đŠđĒNeuschwanstein Castle: 1 night. Those with fewer days usually go directly to Munich and back on the same day, but this is very rushed. Staying for one night is just right. After all, there are no other attractions around.
đŠđĒBlack Forest Town: 3~7 nights. If you want to visit the entire Black Forest, it will take 7~10 days.
đŠđĒBaden-Baden: 1~2 nights. It is a European resort where you can take a break and soak in hot springs.
đŠđĒHeidelberg: 1~5 nights. It takes at least two days to visit all the attractions in Heidelberg. But this city is so beautiful. If you want to roam around, you will want to stay for 7 days to feel the atmosphere of the university town.
