২৬ মার্চ ১৯৭১,যে দিন একসাথে রক্ত, বীরত্ব আর অদম্য সাহস দিয়ে ইতিহাস লেখা হয়েছিল।

২৬ মার্চ ১৯৭১ সালের সকালে ঐতিহাসিক স্বাধীনতার ঘোষণা দেওয়া হয়, ভয়াবহ এর পর। সেই সাহসী ও নিঃস্বার্থ মুহূর্তগুলোতে একটি জাতি অত্যাচারের বিরুদ্ধে অদম্য সাহস নিয়ে রুখে দাঁড়ায়। তাদের কষ্ট ও ত্যাগ রূপ নেয় স্বাধীনতার এক গৌরবময় সংগ্রামে, যা সূচনা করে বাংলাদেশ মুক্তিযুদ্ধের।

প্রতিষ্ঠানের সম্মানিত উপপ্রধান ফাহমিদা খানম ২৬ মার্চ উপলক্ষে শহীদ বীর উত্তম লে. আনোয়ার গার্লস কলেজের স্মরণসভায় দর্শকদের উদ্দেশ্যে আন্তরিক ভাষণ দেন। এছাড়াও শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের শ্রদ্ধা প্রদর্শনের জন্য একটি আবেগঘন চিত্রাঙ্কন প্রতিযোগিতা ও রচনা প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ করে।

২৫শে মার্চের কালরাত্রি বাঙালি জাতির ইতিহাসে এক শোকাবহ ও কলঙ্কময় অধ্যায় হিসেবে চিহ্নিত। ১৯৭১ সালের এই রাতে নিরস্ত্র ও নিরীহ বাঙালির উপর পরিচালিত হয়েছিল পরিকল্পিত গণহত্যা, যা মানবতার ইতিহাসে এক নৃশংস উদাহরণ।
আমাদের মাননীয় অদ্যক্ষ কর্নেল মুহাম্মদ সাদিক মাহমুদ গভীরভাবে আবেগঘন এক স্মরণসভায় উপস্থিত দর্শকদের উদ্দেশে হৃদয়স্পর্শী বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন, যা আয়োজন করেছিল শহিদ বীর উত্তম লে. আনোয়ার গার্লস স্কুল ও কলেজ এই দিনটিকে সম্মান জানাতে। এই দিনটি সম্পর্কে আমাদের আরও ভালোভাবে জানাতে এসেছিলেন আমাদের বিশেষ অতিথি

সেই সন্ধ্যার যন্ত্রণা, বীরত্ব এবং অটল মনোবল আমরা আলোকচিত্রী হিসেবে ধারণ করেছি, যাতে ১৯৭১ সালের ২৫ মার্চের ত্যাগ কখনোই ভোলা না যায়।

রক্তে রাঙানো এক ইতিহাসের নাম ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারি।
ভাষা শহীদদের আত্মত্যাগের বিনিময়ে অর্জিত আমাদের এই বাংলা ভাষা শুধু যোগাযোগের মাধ্যম নয়, এটি আমাদের জাতীয় পরিচয় ও গৌরবের প্রতীক।

আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উপলক্ষে “শহীদ বীর উত্তম লেফটেন্যান্ট আনোয়ার গার্লস স্কুল ও কলেজ”-এর পক্ষ থেকে ভাষা শহীদদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন করা হচ্ছে। তাঁদের ত্যাগের কারণেই আজ আমরা স্বাধীনভাবে বাংলায় কথা বলার অধিকার পেয়েছি।

এই মহান দিন আমাদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয় ভাষার মর্যাদা রক্ষা করা আমাদের দায়িত্ব ও অঙ্গীকার।

মাতৃভাষা কেবল শব্দ নয়,এ আমাদের অস্তিত্ব।
২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারি আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধার সঙ্গে সেই শহীদদের স্মরণ করি, যাঁরা মাতৃভাষায় কথা বলার অধিকার রক্ষায় নিজেদের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছিলেন। তাঁদের সাহস ভাষার মৌলিক মূল্যবোধ,পরিচয়, মর্যাদা ও স্বাধীনতার গুরুত্বকে সুস্পষ্টভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছে। আমরা তাঁদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা জানাই এবং আগামীর প্রজন্মের জন্য আমাদের ভাষাগত ঐতিহ্য সংরক্ষণ ও রক্ষার অঙ্গীকার নবায়ন করি।
