This Center provides career development counseling to UIU graduates. Designs and arrange seminars, workshops related to development of students.

The Directorate of Career Counseling & Student Affairs (DCCSA) plays a central role in the development of students in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities besides academic knowledge. Cultivates and maintains relationship with employers, relevant institutions and organizations. Major functions are:

Internship Placement

Internships are arranged with top organizations and financial institu

tions for the students to get an exposure to professional life in their respective field of study. Job Placement and Job Search

Career Counseling Center assists students search and find suitable part time jobs. Arranges full time placements either immediately after graduation or over a period of time. Besides the placement function Career Counseling Center is also involved in arranging workshops and seminars to practice on resume writing, interview techniques, job search skills and presentation techniques. It is the expectation of the authorities of UIU that one day the graduates and the former students will be creating opportunities for the current students. Notice: Temporary Closure of the UIU Playground

Dear Students,

Due to the continuous rainfall, the playground is currently not in a suitable condition for sports activities. To help preserve the field and ensure everyone's safety, we kindly request all students to refrain from using the playground until Saturday, 18 July 2026, provided there is no further rainfall.

If additional rainfall occurs, the playground will remain closed until it is fully suitable for sports activities.

Additionally, as classes will be conducted online on 14 and 15 July 2026, the playground will remain closed on these dates as well.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation in helping us maintain the quality of the playground.

Undefeated Champion: UIU White Wins National Title at ‘The People's Mandate: July National Debate Championship 2026’

The UIU White team from the United International University (UIU) Debate Club emerged as the undefeated champion at The People's Mandate: July National Debate Championship 2026, a prestigious national debating competition featuring participants from universities across Bangladesh. In addition to securing the championship title, Ismail Safa received the Best Debater of the Tournament, while Md. Tasnim Hossain received the Best Debater of the Final award.

The two-day championship was held on 10 and 11 July 2026, with the participation of universities from across the country. The award ceremony took place on 13 July at the auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum in Shahbagh, Dhaka. The event was graced by Honourable Member of Parliament Atik Mujahid (Cumilla-2 Constituency) and Honourable Member of Parliament Nadia Pathan Papon (Reserved Women's Seat) as special guests, who presented trophies and awards to the winning teams.
Representing the UIU Debate Club- UIUDC, the UIU White team comprised Ismail Safa, Md. Tasnim Hossain, and Ikramul Hasib Arnob. Demonstrating exceptional reasoning, analytical skills, and presentation throughout the tournament, the team remained unbeaten in every round and ultimately claimed the national championship.

The tab-based tournament began with three preliminary rounds, where UIU White won all three debates and advanced to the knockout stage as one of the top-breaking teams.
In the quarterfinal, UIU White defeated BGC Trust University to secure a place in the semifinals. They then overcame Daffodil International University in the semifinal to book their place in the final. In the championship round, they defeated Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) to lift the national title.

Beyond their team success, the members of UIU White also achieved remarkable individual recognition. Ismail Safa was awarded the Best Debater of the Tournament for his outstanding and consistent performance throughout the competition. Md. Tasnim Hossain earned the Best Debater of the Final award for his exceptional performance in the championship debate.
This undefeated national championship victory marks a significant milestone for the United International University Debate Club, reflecting the club's commitment to excellence in debating and reinforcing UIU's growing reputation in the national debating arena.

An interactive session on ‘Engaging and Inspiring Youth in Banking’ under the theme of ‘Empowering Youth- Season 2.0’ organized by UIU Entrepreneur Development Forum, one of the leading forums of UIU Directorate of Career Counseling & Student Affairs, is going to be held on Sunday, 19 July 2026 at 2.00 PM at UIU Multipurpose Hall.

The UIU Social Services Club, one of the leading clubs under the Directorate of Career Counseling and Student Affairs (DCCSA), is pleased to organize "A Meaningful Day with Our Elderly Friends"—a special social outreach to M. A. Rashid Probeen Nibash, Maloncho, Jamalpur, Mymensingh, on 17 July 2026 (Friday).

In our busy lives, we often forget that a little time and companionship can make a big difference to someone. This visit aims to spend quality time with the elderly residents by listening to their stories, sharing conversations, participating in recreational activities, and creating meaningful memories together.
