পাকিস্তানকে প্রথমবার টেস্ট ম্যাচে হারিয়েছি, সেখানে অবদান রাখতে পেরে আনন্দিত ও গর্বিত। দেশে বন্যা পরিস্থিতির কারণে এই জয়টাও ঠিকমত উপভোগ করতে পারছি না, মনটা পড়ে আছে দেশে। আমি এই ম্যাচে এনার্জেটিক প্লেয়ার অব দ্যা ম্যাচ পুরষ্কার হিসাবে প্রাপ্ত অর্থ বন্যার্তদের জন্য দেবার ঘোষণা দিচ্ছি। যারা দেশে আছেন, তাঁরা সবাই সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী এগিয়ে আসুন। যত বিপদ, তত ঐক্য। বাংলাদেশ হারবে না।
We've defeated Pakistan in a Test match for the first time, and I'm thrilled and proud to have contributed to this victory. However, due to the flood situation in our country, I can't fully enjoy this win; my heart remains with those back home. I’m announcing that I will donate the prize money I received as the Energetic Player of the Match to the flood victims. To everyone back home, please come forward and help as much as you can.
