'Wastelands of the North' is curated by Eliza Tatulescu, whose thoughtful eye has helped shape the selection and flow of the work.

Here's how I frame my fine art prints:

(1) a wooden frame - made from scratch by a local craftsman;
(2) Artglass - the way to go (goodbye reflections and UV rays);
(3) two pieces of archival mounting board, cut to size - one functions as the mat, another as the backing board;
(4) the print is mounted to the backing board with a T-hinge (using archival tape, obviously);
(5) a final cleaning of the glass, and the sandwiched print goes into the frame;
(6) paper tape seals the back of the frame, after a final check for dust.

Done!

Images are typically printed at 60x90 or 60x60 cm - large enough to step into the scene, but intimate enough to feel personal.

Just to give you an idea, some shots from the 2024 exhibition 'Luminous' ...

Not every landscape belongs on the same paper.

Some images call for the velvety depth of a matte paper, others need the richness of a baryta finish. Choosing the right paper is a part of translating a photograph to print.
