A Must Eat in Prague.
Every time I travel somewhere new, I love eating local food and treats. So when I was in Prague, I couldn’t resist trying their most famous sweet snack: Chimney cake, locally known as Trdelnik.
So what is it exactly? A Chimney Cake is actually thin strips of dough, wrapped around a wooden stick. After glazing it with sugar, the dough is grilled over open coals until it’s brown and caramelized. The Trdelnik is then rolled in trays which are filled with sugar, cinnamon, and chopped nuts. And there you go! Your Chimney Cake is ready.
You can have it as it is or you can opt from the end number of variants they have . For example the Tiramisu: filled with coffee cake , topped cream and cocoa or the Chimney King: filled with vanilla ice cream and a chocolate topping (which I opted for). 😁😋
