I’ve always been immensely fascinated by our Moon, the stars, and basically our whole universe.
Photography brought me closer to these celestial objects as I could capture them myself, and wonder about what else is there.

Here: our moon, juxtapositioned with the Cathedral Of Our Lady, the biggest tower in the city I live in: Antwerp.

I shot this one 9 full moons ago, back in january. I calculated the position I had to be in to get the moonrise behind the cathedral.

For all photogeeks out there: I forgot my tripod 🤪 so these were shot handheld at 1/15 sec with Canon 100-500mm + R5 (thank god for IBIS!)

About last sunday.
I don't shoot many festivals any more, but this one was definitely worth it. Thé Dansant never disappoints! Add some perfect summer weather, a gorgeous historic location, great music, dressed up people in the theme of ancient Greece, et voila!

Last week I had a blast capturing the second edition of in the french Alps! (Which was supposed to be the 4th edition already if it wasn't for Covid!)
This is where photography all started for me: capturing the joy and vibrance of people celebrating life.

Seeing and capturing all these happy faces again was just marvellous.
Meeting up with long time no seen colleagues, artists and friends sure made a good impact and ignited some good old nostalgia about a time that almost seemed unreal!

Happy to see life finally take on its normal form again!.
2022, let's go !

Onlangs had ik de eer om geïnterviewd te worden door Shoot fotomagazine over mijn werk als fotograaf, de impact van Covid, fotograferen op Tomorrowland, onze Prints For Charity campagne voor het goede doel, over walvissen en vulkanen fotograferen in centraal-Amerika, en meer!

Fille Roelants vertelt over zijn ervaringen met de Canon EOS R5, zijn werk als eventfotograaf en de impact van de coronacrisis.

WOOOPTIDOEWW ! 🥳🥳🥳


This weekend I got the great news that I made it to the 2nd place at the Masters of Wedding Photography NL, Be & Lux and 1st place in Belgium 🤩

I was lucky enough to gather 15 awards in total this year, (with photos that were mostly taken in 2019, which seems ages ago right now!)

Which one is your favourite?


First of all a big thank you to all my lovely, sweet, and daring couples for trusting me to capture all the memories of their special day.


Happy couples are obviously always my top priority in wedding photography, but getting this kind of acknowledgement definitely taps me on the back to keep going after such an awful year.
