When I started out my photography career, I waited and waited on the sidelines. I didn’t go to workshops because I thought I wasn’t good enough yet. I was a little shy to join community events.
Showing up felt intimidating. Investing in myself felt like a gamble. But it turns out I grew so much faster when I started connecting to other photographers and creatives. To stop caring if my work was good enough yet, if I was in the right place surrounding myself with ‘real’ photographers.
I remember each and every photographer who encouraged me, who invited me into the community. The joy of finding like like minded colleagues! The courage to dig deeper in my work!
We believe in paying it forward. Which is why we’re giving away a full scholarship for our .workshop in France this summer.
