Combine love, art and a hell of a party and Megan and Alaap’s wedding is what you get. The joy that was being immersed in their world. Cool, classy, adventurous, fun. Beautiful but understated. As in: black tie, but also starting the day with fries and ending the day with fries. Guests got to experience great architecture, following a trail of cocktails, oysters and immersive food. Every single choice was personal, meaningful and perfectly curated.

When I started out my photography career, I waited and waited on the sidelines. I didn’t go to workshops because I thought I wasn’t good enough yet. I was a little shy to join community events.

Showing up felt intimidating. Investing in myself felt like a gamble. But it turns out I grew so much faster when I started connecting to other photographers and creatives. To stop caring if my work was good enough yet, if I was in the right place surrounding myself with ‘real’ photographers.

I remember each and every photographer who encouraged me, who invited me into the community. The joy of finding like like minded colleagues! The courage to dig deeper in my work!

We believe in paying it forward. Which is why we’re giving away a full scholarship for our .workshop in France this summer.

They kept 3 things in mind.

1 - Keep finding each other in the chaos of the day
2 - If you don’t care about the weather, nobody else will
3 - If you come ready to party, everybody else will too

Sage advice. I couldn’t agree more. And boy, did they come ready to party.

Somewhere between Marrakesh and the Atlas mountains everything felt just a little more wild. The love. The clouds, the sun, the torrential rains. The cheering when Annabel arrived. The snowy mountain tops occasionally gracing us with their views. The dancing. The little dog who belonged to no one and everyone.

The hugs felt louder and the laughter more colourful.
