Working with .vermeiren since the very beginning has been a real pleasure and seeing his first book come to life made it even more special🥹✨

Every image in it was scanned right here at Mori, and we had the chance to work closely together on the feel and treatment of each frame.

Film delivery days are good days at the lab!

Our fridge has been looking super empty for the past couple of weeks.

We had placed a huge order of film through last month and the day our order shipping, Bpost started their strike. 🥲

This means that a delivery that usually takes only 2 days got delayed and delayed and delayed. 15K+ worth of film just stuck in a warehouse somewhere… We called and there’s nothing we could do except for waiting. So we waited and today, surprise ! After exactly 30 days, box n1 shows up!

All of this to say, Portra is back in stock, so is colour plus and TriX. Ultramax and Kodak Gold will hopefully arrive soon too. 😇

For years, people have been asking us for a camera course, and for years we kept saying “soon.” Well, soon is finally here!

The idea is simple: it’s a beginner workshop where you’ll walk out actually understanding your camera. All the basic settings, how exposure works, and most importantly, how to shoot confidently without a light meter. No phone, no external meter. Just your camera and your eyes.

This is honestly something very close to me. Learning to shoot this way is what really made me fall in love with film photography. Once you get it, you just detach, trust the process, and take pictures instinctively. I’ve been shooting like this for over ten years and it’s honestly one of the best things about shooting film for me.

Can’t wait to see some of you there, but book quickly, spots will go fast! 🏎️
