AD | This is the result of an inadvertent colour hunt around Marmaris. It’s something I’ve been wanting to try out for a change to create a nice, consistent series - I didn’t mean to focus on a particular colour but, by last few hours of our time in Marmaris, I realised that I was spotting yellow everywhere and it was harder not to take photos to add to my accidental colour hunt. I couldn’t believe too that I’d captured so many images earlier with the same colours. Looks good doesn’t it?

Whenever I visit Newcastle, I often find myself returning to the same spots for a coffee but it was nice to check out Neighbourhood Coffee (part of North Shore Coffee) for something different.

The pastries are incredible, the pain au chocolat in particular, but its the iced oat matcha that steals the show - having it on tap to pour yourself is pretty cool!

Neighbourhood Coffee has gone straight onto my list of the best cafés in Newcastle! Check out the link below for more top cafés and coffee spots.

AD | Welcome to Marmaris.

I recently spent four nights in my 30th country, Türkiye, with Jet2holidays and absolutely loved it. The Old Town of Marmaris and the wider region, which spans both the Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea, are stunning.

Here’s a collection of my favourite photos across the trip; from ancient hilltop cities to traditional Turkish villages, boat trips on the turquoise sea (swimming in the pouring rain was a ‘core memory unlocked’ kind of moment) and slow wanders around the Old Town.

Would I go back? Yeah absolutely, I’d love to explore more of the Turkish Riviera with the family!

Welcome to Benidorm.

Here are a few of my favourite images from four nights in Benidorm - I had such a good time and loved it far more than I thought I would! You can’t go wrong with golden sand, a beautiful Old Town, great food and cheap beer!

AD | I’ve just got home from a press trip with Jet2holidays / the tourism board for the Marmaris region and wanted to share some of my favourite images from the trip - these trips are what I love, trying to capture the feel of a place in my own unique way & often somewhere that’s not necessarily a unique destination.

The trips are always jam packed, jumping from place to place capturing what you can but I really appreciate a bit of free time too - some of my favourites were from an early morning 5 mile solo walk hanging after 5 hours sleep and plenty of beer the night before!

These photos are all SOOC, just transferred from my camera to phone so that I can post directly on my Instagram stories almost live.

I travelled light this trip: X-T5 + Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 + Fujifilm 56mm f/1.2

That might be the most perfect set up for me at the moment though it leaves out my ultimate lens, the 35mm 1.4 (first time anywhere without it says something about the Sigma though)
