The Silent Keepers

Seen, and unseen. Drifting, yet unshaken. Are they emerging from the depths, or fading into them?

In their quiet existence, they echo something of us—a fleeting presence in the vastness, born from the same stardust that binds the cosmos. We rise, we fall, and in between, we drift, suspended in time’s endless sea.

We are everything and nothing—brief flickers in the limitless expanse, both vital and vanishing. In our impermanence, we are woven, a part of the infinite fabric that stretches across all existence. Our presence is both a question and a whisper. Do we leave a mark, or simply merge with the infinite? And if so, can we not find comfort knowing we are part of something eternal, that every one of us is a vital piece of this grand, interconnected flow?

Happy New Year, everyone. I will be dipping in and out; social media is something I am limiting this year. My best wishes, and love, to you all 💙

I have been devastated that our golden chain tree died last year, and left it standing with hopes it had simply gone dormant (high hopes, not very logical I suppose). But last night it made an interesting subject, seemingly reaching toward the heavens as the sky erupted in colour and light.

Also, my beloved 16-35mm 2.8 lens was sacrificed last night. I set my tripod down on our patio, but one of the legs wasn't out; the whole rig took a nose dive and totalled my lens.
