Shooting analog enables you to fully experience the craft of photography. Unlike digital photography, it’s a slow process that obliges you to think carefully about each shot you take, making each push on the button a magical moment.
Experienced photographers smile right away, a trip down memory lane which reminds them to the magic and beauty of analog photography they practiced in the good old days. For new generations of young photographers who grew up with a digital camera, it’s an exciting journey to learn the analog work flow: picking a favorite analog camera, shooting the right film, processing it afterwards or even making authentic darkroom prints from it.
But how do you do all that in the digital age we’re living in? The days when you could buy a roll of film on every street corner, are long gone. Many things that are indispensable to shooting analog, are almost impossible to find these days.
