Niet akkoord met de titel en slotsom van het artikel van Ludo Beckers in Knack.
Kessels is zeker niet ondergewaardeerd. In België misschien. Maar hier wordt historische fotografie tout-court niet gewaardeerd.
Kessels is een exponent van zijn tijd. Een rumoerige periode. Volop in beweging. Kessels is met tijd meegegaan en heeft de periode van het Interbellum op een schitterende manier vastgelegd.

De Belgische fotograaf W***y Kessels is een dubbelzinnige figuur geweest.
