For this exhibition at the Rietveld Paviljoen, Amersfoort, curator André Pielage has selected visual works by Marianne Lammersen, Couzijn van Leeuwen, Ronald van der Meijs, André Pielage, and Jonas Vansteenkiste.
Jonas Vansteenkiste presents “Fractum Domum (Palimpsest Interventions)” — a series that transforms 19th-century architectural ornaments into contemporary artistic gestures. By placing these interventions in public spaces, Vansteenkiste creates a layered dialogue between architecture, memory, and the urban environment — between what is built, what fades, and what can grow anew.
