To all births I had in this hospital & the experience that came along with it. 🌊

To all mothers who were brave enough to go for an unmediated birth. 🔥

To the support they’ve got from their birthing team, over and over again. For the patience, the encouragement & faith they had in these parents. And for the fact that they always made me feel at home as soon as I walked in. (Except in times of co r o na)

To this amazing tub where you could make pictures like these. 🫶 I really hope the other two tubs will be sold to other hospitals and expand this kind of water births! 🩵

My heart is full with memories, my doulaheart feels grateful & humble. 🪽

Wishing the new team nothing but luck, enrichment and harmony. 🌈"

When the baby caught us in speed. Right there on the floor in the livingroom. ♥️

This was the moment the father gave me his camera to look at his son for the first time. The sweet midwife took this shot of us and I absolutely love that frame!

Super grateful for this whole adventure! 🖤

Exact een jaartje geleden werd ik één met dit warme gezin.
Oorspronkelijk was ik de Back up doula maar het werd al snel duidelijk dat ik hierbij moest zijn. 💕
Zoveel mooie gesprekken en raakvlakken vloeiden die dag en nacht. ✨

En wat deden ze het fantastisch samen! Lees haar real&honest geboorteverhaal op haar post.
En zetten we beiden een Moon op deze planeet, bij mij uitgesproken op zijn Engels, bij Eva met lange OO 🥰
Dankbaar voor de ontmoeting (want telkens leer ik zelf ook zoveel van de ouders tijdens een begeleiding).
Looking forward to Sunday to celebrate this little one’s birth day. 🥳💛💫✨

Her First Breath. 💕

Such a unique photograph, so much emotion on one image.

✨ This is the moment she took her first breath. It was not what the mother expected how it would be but this was their birthstory. 🔥 And it was super beautiful. 💛

✨ We only have two birthdoctors in Belgium and I captured them together in one shot! 🤩

✨ The dedication from the midwife even in stressful moments she still manages to smile! So much passion, wauw! 🔥

✨ So much respect for these parents, the mother stayed so close to herself and really listened to her instinct! Nothing but respect for them.
🙌🏻

✨ Every birth makes me stronger as doula and yet again I feel so grateful I was part of their journey. What a lifechanging moment! 🥰
