I think everyone has a list from aircraft types and display teams that they hope to see at least once in their life for real.
For me, one of those teams was Patrouille Tranchant flying the Fouga Magister.

In 2023, I was finally able to tick this team off my wishlist when I saw them performing their graceful display during the Belgian Air Force Days that were held at Kleine Brogel.

To be honest, I have never been a big fan of helicopter demonstrations at airshows.

But I must admit that I have come to appreciate them more and more over the past few years.

One of the teams responsible for this is the Czech Air Force's Sokol demonstration team.

It is so impressive to see how they throw their helicopter around during their display, it is definitely one of the most energetic helicopter demonstrations on the European airshow circuit!

This shot was taken during the awesome spottersday that was held at Kleine Brogel during the 2009 NATO Tiger Meet exercise.

The RIAT airshow regularly manages to treat spectators to unique formation flights.

One of the most favorite formation flights I saw there was this one of the Red Arrows together with the mighty Vulcan bomber.

Howling hornets in the Swiss alps.

Besides taking photos, I occasionally use a simple handheld/compact camera to make short clips.
I do this mainly for myself so that I also have some moving images from trips that I made.

But I still want to share this video with you. It's from a location that is, and remains one of my favorite vacation destinations!
