Hard to believe a 45-million-year-old creature still exists. Also, pretty sure Baby Yoda got his looks from this little guy.

Meet the Philippine tarsier, one of the smallest primates on Earth (about the size of a tennis ball) and found only on a handful of islands in Southeast Asia.

With an estimated 5000 left in the wild, they’re incredibly rare. Seeing one with my very own eyes felt really special and is not something you come across very often. Definitely made my day… maybe even my year.

Feels like yesterday when we were hopping islands in the Philippines. This country overdelivered in so many ways: the diversity of islands, the food, the wildlife and welcoming people spread over remote villages, jungles, and beaches straight out of a dream.

It’s crazy how islands so close together can feel like completely different places. Did the math and we’ve still got about 7,622 more to explore (lol). Guess I’ll just have to come back someday. Also… could definitely use 32 degrees right now.

Behind every photo lies a story, and a photographer. So, if you're curious about who I am, what inspires me, and why I do what I do, let me introduce myself.

My name is Wobbe, born in Roeselare (Belgium), and from a young age I've been passionate about sports, the outdoors, and everything related to photography. Soon, I realized these interests don't have to be separated. From a journey through Jordan to a friend's first participation in a full Iron Man in Austria, I consistently found myself capturing these amazing experiences on camera.

This also summarizes what appeals to me most about photography: Capturing places I’ve never been before. There’s something special about that first experience, the creative freedom each shot brings, and the new people you meet along the way.

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m usually out swimming, running, or cycling. I love anything that gets me outside and clears my mind. And if I can top it off with a coffee? That’s my kind of perfect day.
