Over 5000 meters in altitude. We were a group of 5 people (myself, 2 friends and 2 backpackers that joined us). My 2 friends decided to stay within 10 meters from our car as they literally could not breathe. I was feeling a little better and boldly decided to walk around to check out the geysers, feel the strong terrible smell of sulfur, and just get lost around!

FAIL. Flat tyre. That’s ok… We saw plenty of those throughout our journey, and couldn’t be different with us. A little break to breathe fresh air as well, stretch our legs and continue!

Outstanding Isla Incahuasi (Inkawasi or Inka Wasi), which is an island in a sea of salt covered with giant "Trichocereus cacti". Did I remember that? Of course not, glad we have Google these days. What I do remember was the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, driving for hours and hours and landing in this "island" full of cactus where we could stretch our legs for a few minutes and walk around. Every centimeter walking and looking around was a new angle of stunning views of nature.
