Vila Velha Point Lookout

This scenic spot is located in it Itamaracá Island in the northeastern Brazilian state of Pernambuco. In this such nice sight we can see the Atlantic Ocean and one of the Brazilian biomes the Atlantic Forest. To reach this spot we need to hiking through beach, mangroves and the forest throughout the Dutch Trail. A fun adventure for those who love nature and hiking.

Fun fact :
Itamaracá means “ stone shaker” in Tupi.
Tupi is an ancient language from the indigenous people in Brazil.

I loved having found this spot on my city! it was originally the first place that i had chosen to be the site of my undergraduate project thesis. It was full of inspiration and poetry! The meeting of the river and the sea. Each minute that passed on that day I could see many cenaries of my city!

“Certainly, the sun will come tomorrow. Wait until then!”

It was the first hours of sunrise when I took these pics. While I was driving to reach the highest ground the darkness was broken by the twilight. In the beginning, it was so shy. It was a quiet time. Gradually, the scenario was changing. Some birds broke up the silence. The sun had no yet showed up. However, he sent its first radiation coloring the sky. A fabulous masterpiece. In a explosion of light the mighty sun appeared to crown the presentation!
