Game Drive September 2025 Photo 119 Following on from last week when I posted up the photo of a pup waiting for the return of an adult with food, this was that moment. Quickly regurgitated and even more swiftly picked up and eaten by the waiting pups. Amazing to see and wonderful to have been blessed to spend time with these beautiful animals 🤩

2026 Return to Botswana Daily Safari photo No.8 During our 2023 visit to Botswana, we managed to complete our Birding6 but it was not the best view for a photograph of such a rare bird. This time whilst on a walk on Sausage Tree Island, we got to spend amazing quality time with this juvenile sat in a tree, right above us and with such a direct, close view, got the photograph I’d always wanted. Such a breathtaking and what a life memory to have shared space with this relaxed bird of prey at operated by booked via OkavangoDeltaExplorations

2026 Return to Botswana Daily Safari photo No.5 Having a guide who can tap into the mind of a big cat as it carries out a territory walk is priceless. That ability to position the vehicle and wait for the animal to come to you makes an already special sighting that much more memorable. As was the case here, as others rushed around chasing their own tales, Isak gave us this exceptional sighting of a very curly tale attached to a magnificent male as it emerged from the Bush just as he had at predicted. Superb bushcraft on display and what a beast of a leopard 🤩 at operated by booked via OkavangoDeltaExplorations

Game Drive September 2025 Photo 118 With no sightings during our recent Return to Botswana trip and due to the amount of bird photos I took, I thought about doing a ‘WingedWednesday’ going forward BUT I have so many Wild Dog photos still to share from past Safari adventures, I’m sticking with 🙌🏼 Here, one of many pups was waiting for an adult to return with food which soon came! See next Wednesday…

2026 Return to Botswana Daily Safari photo No.3 Absolutely thrilled with the pre-capture function of my new Canon R6iii mated to my trusty Canon RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM lens who can gave me so many more keepers and especially many more birds in flight images. Here’s a taking off from tall reeds seen whilst on a boat drifting along the Okavango Delta waters whilst staying at operated by booked via
