Recent photos have been focused on our 2023 adventures. I’ll be taking a break from daily posting as my wife & I return there to experience some different camps and lodges across the Okavango Delta, the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park and a favourite in the Savute area for a special Birthday treat and to celebrate another wedding anniversary 🥂❤️ Boat safaris, walking safaris, vehicle safaris, mokoro trips along the channels of the Delta, beautiful sunrises and sunsets with sundowners aplenty, lodge hops in small planes plus another super exciting ‘doors off’ helicopter flip over the Delta with too 🚁🤩 Counting the hours until we are back there 🙏🏼✈️🇿🇦🇧🇼 booked via

2023 MWP Safari Photo Number 327 Quite simply the best sighting we have ever had. This beautiful Malachite Kingfisher was perched on a reed and our guide Taps allowed the boat to slowly drift to the reed bed so we ended up within what seemed like touching distance hence the clarity of photo! The Kingfisher did not mind in the slightest as it coughed up a pellet, caught fish from this vantage point before battering its fishy catch and swallowing it whole. All within mere feet in front of us. Just amazing! Counting the days - nearly counting hours - until we are back with you in the Delta 🙏🏼 booked via
