Love sealed before sunrise 🌧️🤍
In the early hours of the morning at Tonota, as tradition calls for around 5AM, the bride’s family made their journey to the groom’s home for Patlo Magadi the beautiful Setswana custom of presenting bride price negotiations, whether in the form of cattle, money for cattle, and gifts for the uncles, aunts, and parents. Despite the rain falling softly that morning, the day carried warmth, respect, unity, and the joining of two families.
The journey then continued to Immigration/Molaodi for the official marriage registration, marking another special chapter in the couple’s love story.
