10/10. If you think the series feels a bit feminist then I have good news for you. The series turns around yet. I wonder if Robert Jordan had older sisters. Because all the women act like they are older sisters to everyone.

People say The Chronicles of Narnia is based on the Bible. You can see it if you look hard enough. They also say Lord Of the Rings is Based on the Bible. I dont see it. But Wheel of Time is so obviously based on the Bible. No one ever talks about it but everything is so close to the real world that it feels like you are actually reading about an alternate world. with all the prophecies of a man who will be born to die for mankind. Accept we dont know if the dark one will bring him to the darkness and he will end up destroying the world instead.
The stakes are high.
Here is one of the prophecies.

Twice and twice shall he be marked,
twice to live and twice to die.
Once the heron, to set his path.
Twice the heron, to name him true.
Once the Dragon, for remembrance lost.
Twice the Dragon, for the price he must pay.
