✨ 𝐊𝐂𝐏 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 ✨
Meet Tamara — president of the Lower Mainland Quarter Horse Association, a dedicated leader within our equine community, and a familiar face alongside her two horses, Garth and Eileen. From helping bring us the Icebreaker in partnership with the BC Paint Horse Club to her own success in the show ring, Tamara continues to make a meaningful impact both in and out of the arena.
🎤 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡’𝐬 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
What’s one thing you’ve improved on recently that makes you proud?
💬 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝:
“It’s hard to give you one thing as there is a few things lately I am proud about. I’m proud of how much I’ve learned not just in skills, but lessons about people, boundaries and personal growth. I’ve realized my genuine love for the equine community and how much I value bringing people together through our love for horses. “Growth is not linear. Real progress involves evolving, often requiring discomfort, patience, and embracing the journey.””
This is such a powerful reminder that growth in our sport — and in life — goes far beyond ribbons. It’s about leadership, community, resilience, and continuing to evolve along the way. 💛🐴
