NATIONAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY // June 21 is a time to honour and celebrate the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada.

Here in Mission, we are grateful to be on the unceded territory of the Stó:lō People. In particular, we recognize the enduring relationships of the Leq’á:mel, Sq’éwlets, Scowlitz, Sts’ailes, Matsqui, Sumas, and Kwantlen First Nations, whose deep cultural ties to this land continue to this day.
