My name is Warin (or Lauren, or Ware-in, or that red headed photographer), i’ve heard it all. I’ve been in the wedding industry for over a decade now and can honestly say I am grateful everyday for it. 🤍

Being let in to someone’s biggest day is not something I take lightly and I strive to capture it by not only how it looked but also how it felt too.

The anticipation building as you’re getting ready with your favourite people, a quiet tearful moment shared between your grandma and your mom, the excited relief on your partners face when they finally get to hold your hand on a day that you’ve been planning for years, it truly feels like magic and I love all of it. 🥹

A few random facts about me ✨

• if you haven’t noticed yet, im a big fan of emojis 🔥 I just feel like i’d never want someone to misinterpret the tone of what i’ve written and emojis help 😉

• I have a 3 year old daughter and she has reinforced so much of why I do what I do - she is growing up so fast and the ability to document her personality over the last few years has only made me more grateful that I am able to do the same for others 🤍

• I have been with my husband for over a decade and I like to tell people that he stole my twenties but really, he helped me become who I am today and he’s my bestest friend 🤍

• i’m a cancer sign 🦀 like to the core - emotional, intuitative, introverted and loyal - all huge attributes of who I am (which I can argue are also great qualities of a wedding photographer)

• donuts are my love language but acts of service are good too 🍩

I’ve often been described on a wedding day as caring, direct, intentional, happy and SO nice (I get this one a lot) and honestly, that’s what I want. On your wedding day, I want you to feel comfortable, taken care of and confident in how I will show up for you and how I will document your day. ✨

If you had asked me what my favourite part of weddings to photograph was a few years ago, it would have definitely been portraits but these days I am loving the ceremony and cocktail hour vibes. There’s just something about well thought out details and happy people all in one space ✨

My last helicopter session of the year was one to remember with these two. 🌧️

Definitely the wettest flight I have ever been on by far but managed to find a secluded beach tucked away in the mountains for this proposal.

Honestly, the monsoon didn’t even phase H + A. After being together for almost 10 years, they were giving all of the cozy, twilight romance vibes. Even despite us all being absolutely soaked.

This job is truly the best, I am forever grateful to be a part of so many couples incredible love stories 🤍
