It was hard to hold back the tears this morning before meeting up with the bride to be: my cousin. We’ve grown quite close since I moved to Calgary and I see her as a little sister with all the wisdom, sass and brains that a big sister would offer. She is complimented by her partner Tyler who is sensible, calm and witty. Who also means the world to me. I am glad we have had this time together, thank you for all your support and quality time. This whimsical Paris themed wedding at the golf course where we ripped around on golf carts to do wedding photos was great. Every bit of detail and decor was on point. I couldn’t be happier for you two. & rule 4ever.

This venue was mint ! Way to throw a rocking country loving party in a beautifully lit barn with a dance floor among the dirt and guests dressed up in cowboy and cowgirl attire. It was an absolute blast and I threw on a cowboy hat and partied with the funnest group of people. Nothing but a lively day with badass entrances. The couple even got iced. Here’s just a sneak peak of the more formal yet fun photographs we all gushed over outside after the storm cleared.

So this was a super fun, silly, cute and adventurous engagement shoot in Victoria, BC. Megan and Daniel hosted and toured my boyfriend and I that weekend. We were blown away by their hospitality and had so much fun getting to know Daniel more and discussing the inner workings of their upcoming wedding in September.

Best…party…ever..The Jewish wedding reception dance party is characterized by infectious energy and exuberance. ✨ When Thanya contacted me about their elopement plans and how it would only be a couple hours at most in the mountains; my response was “are you sure you two don’t want to celebrate the evening in Banff after?” Her response was the most rockstar response I wasn’t expecting. “Oh definitely not we gotta be back in town for the concert that night.” In the mix of this romantic set are some images that capture the level of this relationship that touches on the comedic ways in which we can be crass, vulgar and crude all in a love story. Hi!! Let’s talk about the Mehndi ceremony. A decorative, colourful pre-wedding tradition in South Asian cultures. It involves applying intricate henna designs on the bride's hands and feet, symbolizing good luck and protection! This joyous event includes music, dancing, delicious food, games, and emotional moments shared among friends and family. It's a vibrant celebration that marks the beginning of the wedding festivities! It was a blast being apart of all the little bits for Taz & Joey from the guests feeding the bride candy, rubbing lotion on her skin to dancing and eating amazing food. I loved every second of it.

It’s been a hectic summer with weddings, travel and some big life changes. I want to reach out on here and thank everyone for the ongoing support.
