Tissue Paper Fish Photography My name is Jen and I take pictures. I take pictures because photographs help remind us when our minds have trouble filling in the blanks.

We need these simple snapshots to remind ourselves of all the vibrant details we miss when we get caught up in just living life. They send us back to relive those fleeting moments, or for some, offer an opportunity to experience what time or distance can hold apart from us. A good friend of mine used to tease me that I would never forget anything, ever, because I had my index finger planted on tha

Jen is a portrait and wedding photographer just starting out in the business. Her partner in crime is her fiancé D, who for whatever reason supports her crack-pot schemes and does his best to keep the “you’re such a weirdo” looks in check when she does something crazy, even if he’s not always so successful. Generally I prefer to take pictures of those weird people-creatures, but every so often I change it up and shoot things like stars. Having a tripod, naturally, makes these photos eleventy-billion times easier to do.
