Nature is beautiful. My goal is to bring that beauty to life through the art of photography. I am an Airdrie based landscape photographer.

Photography to me is about getting out and exploring and sharing the world how I see it. I am fortunate to live in a province with unique and diverse landscapes, and a vast amount of preserved wilderness.

Merry Christmas!!!

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season.

As many of you know, there is a little tradition in our household that is rather unique. Santa usually goes the extra mile for our little girl. This year I guess the grinch beat him to it and left a seasick crocodile swimming in our house.

Here I am trying to take a picture of this pretty little mountain scene in Wyoming and along comes this incredibly rude pronghorn, just waltzing through the scene like she owns the place. The nerve.

During our summer travels we made a quick stop over in Jackson Wyoming on the way home from Arizona to scout out the area a bit for future trips. I am typically not one for touristy areas so I didn't expect much, but I will admit this area had a certain lovable charm to it and the landscape around the Grand Tetons is incredible to say the least. I snapped quite a few shots of this range from various points during the short stay and now it is an area I'd really like to spend some more time exploring in the future.

Livy and I went out for a little drive south of Calgary on our days off. The plants were a bit prickly down that way, but the weather was nice. 😀

This is a spot I have probably blown by a few thousand times on the way out to the mountains and have never taken the time to stop and take a picture. I am not really sure why I have haven't stopped, because each time drive past this scene it catches my eye. I have always loved the layered affect the light gives to the mountains and the foothills under evening light.
