There are a lot of ways to describe the last 2 weeks but the best and most succinct thing I can say is that it was genuinely a once in a lifetime experience that I am so grateful to have had. Visiting the villages where my grandparents came from and exploring the city that my mom grew up in has given me a newfound appreciation for my background and it has truly changed my perspective on my own life in Canada.

Thank you Ma Ma, Gung Gung, , , , , , John, , , .wong and all of my relatives in China and Hong Kong who I met for the first time - I'm thankful for everything each of you did to help make this trip so memorable.

I realized I only have 3 days left in my 30-day photo exploration and I haven't shared nearly enough Charlotte pictures! Sometimes it's hard to remember when she was this little so these photos are always a nice reminder. That's another reason I love photography - it lets you capture a specific moment in time, to be cherished forever.
