There are honestly so many beautiful ways to style bridesmaids, whether that’s everyone matching perfectly or mixing different dresses together.

When mixed styles are chosen intentionally, the combination of textures, tones, and silhouettes photographs so beautifully. It adds this soft dimension while still feeling cohesive and timeless, and I love that it also gives each bridesmaid the chance to wear something they feel comfortable and confident in.

Coordinated bridesmaid looks will always feel timeless to me, and I’ve been loving how thoughtfully mixed styles and tones can add so much softness and dimension while still feeling elegant and cohesive 🤍

I always love seeing the locations you choose for your wedding, but even more than that, I love seeing how you make them your own.

I really do believe the space you choose and how you choose to fill it plays such a big role in how your wedding day feels.

One of my favourite parts of this job is getting to photograph the same venue more than once and being reminded that it never feels the same twice.

The same walls. The same landscape. The same venue.

And yet every couple brings something completely different into it. The florals, the colours, the candles, and the personal touches.

That’s what takes a venue from being just a beautiful space to feeling like your wedding. 🤍

When every single guest ends up on the dance floor, a whole different kind of energy takes over. It’s loud, joyful, and a little chaotic… in the best way!

And capturing moments like this?
It feels a little the same 😅

Squeezing between people, moving with everything as it’s happening, trying to keep up with it all. It’s fast-paced and unpredictable… but the kind of chaos that’s filled with so much joy, you can’t help but love every second of it! 🤍

Some of these might be considered ‘controversial’ but looking back, they’re the exact reasons our day felt like us.

When we started planning, it was easy to fall into what you’re ‘supposed’ to do, the typical timelines, traditions, and all the expectations.

But the more we thought about it, the more we realized we cared less about doing things the 'right' way and more about how the day would actually feel to us.

Instead of basing our decisions on what everyone else was doing, we based our decisions on what felt right for us and the kind of day we wanted to experience.

None of these choices are right or wrong. But they’re a good reminder that your wedding doesn’t have to follow a formula.

It just has to feel like you 🤍

Lately I’ve had the pleasure of documenting so many growing families 🤍

There’s something really special about being invited back into your lives, not just once, but again and again. Getting to witness how your story unfolds after your wedding day is something I don’t take lightly.

I feel so honoured to be chosen to document these milestones, but more than that, I genuinely love seeing how your lives grow and change in the most beautiful, ordinary ways.

These in-home newborn sessions, especially during the off-season, have become some of my favourite moments to photograph… slower paced, more relaxed, and filled with so much meaning.

I’m so grateful I get to keep telling your stories through every new season of life.🤍

This time of year always has me dreaming of the tropics and I am officially counting down the days until our next vacay 🌴☀️

Something many couples don’t realize about our approach to destination weddings ⬇️

When we travel for weddings, we don’t just show up for the day. We intentionally document the place you chose too.

We’re often up at sunrise a day or two before the wedding, looking for all the beautiful spots in the city or resort you chose and capturing them in soft light without any people around. I’m also bookmarking those locations and revisiting them during the exact window we would photograph portraits on the wedding day (if they’re close to where your wedding takes place) to make sure the light is even and flattering during that timeframe.

It’s one of the ways we make sure your destination feels just as present in your gallery as the people you shared it with.
