The secret’s out… 🤍

I didn’t just create Built with Purpose—I created an entire series of books designed to follow in its footsteps. Each one will carry its own message, story, and purpose, while continuing the journey we began together.

This is only the beginning, and I cannot wait to share everything I’ve been building behind the scenes.

The Prairie Willow Method is becoming so much more than a book. 🌿

I have been working behind the scenes to create a complete 90-day book marketing and launch plan that reflects everything this book stands for: meaningful growth, practical strategy, authentic connection, and building a business that supports your life.

These pages bring the entire vision together, including:

🌱 The Prairie Willow Method brand and message
🌱 A step-by-step 90-day launch roadmap
🌱 Content ideas and marketing pillars
🌱 Email, social media, website, and partnership plans
🌱 Pre-launch and launch-week checklists
🌱 Simple ways to measure growth and success

I do not want to simply release a book and hope people find it. I want to create a thoughtful experience around it—one that helps heart-led business owners feel supported, encouraged, and equipped to market their businesses without losing themselves in the process.

This is not about creating more noise. It is about showing up with intention, growing with purpose, and building something that lasts.

Rooted in values. Growing with purpose. Leaving a legacy. 🤍🌿

Which part would you be most excited to see: the book, the workbook, the behind-the-scenes journey, or the launch resources?

✨ Your social media doesn’t have to be perfect to work.

One of the biggest mistakes I see business owners make is thinking they need to post every day or have everything look flawless before they show up.

The truth?

People don’t connect with perfection.
They connect with people.

Whether you’re on Instagram or Facebook, focus on creating content that builds trust:

✔️ Share behind the scenes.
✔️ Answer questions your customers ask.
✔️ Show the face behind your business.
✔️ Celebrate your clients and wins.
✔️ Teach something valuable.
✔️ Let your personality shine.

Consistency will always beat perfection.

I put together this simple guide to help you create content that feels intentional without feeling overwhelming. 🤍

Save this post for later, and send it to another small business owner who could use the reminder.

Trust Is the Real Reason People Buy

Have you ever noticed that two businesses can offer almost the exact same service…

Yet one seems to attract clients effortlessly?

It usually isn’t because they’re the cheapest.

Or because they have the fanciest logo.

Or because they’ve mastered every marketing trend.

More often than not…

It’s because people trust them.

Trust Starts Before the First Conversation

Long before someone fills out your contact form, they’re already forming an opinion about your business.

They’re looking through your website.

Reading your reviews.

Browsing your social media.

Getting a feel for who you are.

Every one of those little moments helps answer a simple question:

“Can I trust this person?”

People Want to Know Who They’re Hiring

Whether you’re a photographer, a florist, a contractor, or a website designer…

People want to know who’s behind the business.

They want to see your face.

Hear your story.

Understand what you value.

Connection builds confidence.

And confidence leads to trust.

Consistency Builds Confidence

Trust isn’t created by one perfect Instagram post.

It’s built through consistency.

Showing up.

Keeping your promises.

Communicating well.

Creating an experience that matches what you share online.

When your website, your social media, and your client experience all tell the same story, people feel confident choosing you.

Trust Is Earned

You don’t have to prove you’re the biggest business.

You don’t need thousands of followers.

You simply need to show people that you care.

That you’re reliable.

That you’re passionate about what you do.

And that you’re here to help.

Those qualities never go out of style.

The Best Marketing Doesn’t Feel Like Marketing

When people trust you, recommending your business becomes easy.

They tell their friends.

They share your work.

They come back again.

Not because you convinced them.

Because you made them feel confident from the very beginning.

That’s the kind of business I believe in building.

One relationship at a time.

⸻

🌿 From My Desk at Prairie Willow Co.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:

People rarely remember every detail of your website.

But they’ll always remember how you made them feel.

If your business can make someone feel welcomed, understood, and cared for…

You’ve already built something incredibly valuable.

Your Story Is Your Greatest Marketing Tool

When people think about marketing, they often think about ads.

Algorithms.

Followers.

Fancy strategies.

But I’ve learned something that’s much simpler than all of that.

People remember stories.

Not sales pitches.

Not trendy graphics.

Not perfectly curated feeds.

Stories.

Think about the businesses you love.

Chances are, you know something about the people behind them.

You know why they started.

What they care about.

What makes them different.

That’s what creates connection.

People Connect With People

Your business didn’t start by accident.

There was a reason.

A dream.

A challenge.

A passion.

A leap of faith.

Those moments matter.

They’re what make your business different from everyone else’s.

No one else has lived your story.

Your Story Builds Trust

When you share your journey, people begin to understand more than what you do.

They understand why you do it.

And that’s often what turns someone from a visitor into a client.

Trust isn’t built overnight.

It’s built one honest story at a time.

You Don’t Have to Share Everything

Sharing your story doesn’t mean sharing every detail of your life.

It simply means letting people see the heart behind your business.

The values that guide you.

The people you serve.

The reason you keep showing up.

That’s enough.

Your Story Is Worth Sharing

You might think your story isn’t exciting enough.

But to someone else…

It might be exactly what they needed to hear.

Because your story won’t connect with everyone.

It doesn’t have to.

It only has to connect with the people you’re meant to serve.

⸻

🌿 From My Desk at Prairie Willow Co.

One of my favourite parts of this business has been realizing that people don’t remember me because of a font I chose or a website I designed.

They remember how I made them feel.

That reminder has changed the way I create.

Now, before I publish anything, I ask myself one question:

“Does this help someone know the heart behind Prairie Willow Co.?”

If the answer is yes…

I know it’s worth sharing.

You Don’t Need Thousands of Followers to Have a Successful Business

Somewhere along the way, we started believing that success is measured by follower counts.

And while it’s exciting to watch those numbers grow…

They aren’t what builds a successful business.

I’ve seen businesses with thousands of followers struggle to book clients.

I’ve also seen small businesses with just a few hundred followers become fully booked because they’ve built something much more valuable.

Trust.

The truth is, you don’t need to be internet famous.

You need to be known by the right people.

Quality Will Always Beat Quantity

I’d rather have 100 people following my business because they genuinely connect with what I do than 10,000 people who scroll past without a second thought.

Connection is what creates community.

Community is what creates referrals.

And referrals build businesses.

Show Up as Yourself

People aren’t looking for perfect.

They’re looking for real.

Share your story.

Celebrate your wins.

Be honest about the challenges.

Show the face behind the business.

Those are the things people remember.

Your Website Matters More Than You Think

Social media is wonderful for helping people discover you.

But your website is where they decide whether to trust you.

That’s why I always say your social media should start the conversation…

And your website should continue it.

Together, they create an experience that helps people feel confident reaching out.

Keep Showing Up

Some of the best opportunities don’t come from a viral post.

They come from consistently showing up.

One helpful blog.

One thoughtful post.

One happy client.

One recommendation.

Over time, those little moments build something much bigger than numbers ever could.

Because success isn’t measured by followers.

It’s measured by the relationships you build and the impact you leave behind.

⸻

🌿 From My Desk at Prairie Willow Co.

If I’m honest, there have been seasons where I wondered if I was doing enough because my numbers weren’t growing as quickly as everyone else’s.

But then I’d receive an inquiry from someone who said,

“I’ve been following you for months, and I knew you’d be the one I wanted to work with.”

That’s when I realized something.

I’d rather build trust than chase numbers.

Every single time.

I’ve Been Keeping Something Close to My Heart… 🤍

I’m writing a book.

Built with Purpose: Finding Legacy in the Ordinary Moments is a deeply personal collection of stories about love, loss, motherhood, grief, business, healing, and the moments that shape us—often without us realizing it at the time.

This book holds so much of my heart.

It shares the lessons my dad left behind, the legacy I continue to carry, and the way ordinary moments can become some of the most meaningful parts of our lives.

It is about losing someone you love and learning how to keep moving forward while still carrying them with you.

It is about raising children, building dreams, finding strength during difficult seasons, and realizing that even the pauses, detours, and heartbreaks can have purpose.

I have thought about writing this book for a long time, and I finally feel ready to bring these stories together.

This is more than a book to me.

It is a piece of my story, a tribute to my dad, and a reminder that the life we are building every day matters.

I cannot wait to share more as this journey continues. 🤍
