thanks Seacoast DockDogs for letting me crash your open practice this morning! I've included a bunch of the photos from today.

this one may not have made the top 10, but it was short listed. Shooting with artificial light is so not in my wheelhouse but thankfully Arthur was willing to spend an hour after dark on the Phillips Exeter campus to test out every idea I could think of.

I just loved the feeling in this one & as always - Arthur nailed it with his unscripted posing.

I am pretty bad about posting on here, but I certainly wanted to share my awarded images from the International Pet Photography Awards.

I didn’t shoot anything specific for the awards this year but went through & pulled some of my favorite images from this year. I am happy to know that the judges also enjoyed leaf pile jumping as much as I do.

Continuing with my dog sports... thank you to 603 Disc Dogs for letting me swing by your Thursday night league! It was so much fun to watch all your dogs absolutely crushing it.

I had a chance to stop by the Seacoast DockDogs members practice yesterday on June 14. Below is some of everyone who jumped (in the hour I was there). Feel free to tag yourselves in any of these. The next round of .ed empower was regarding using side light. Thankfully I had my trusty sidekick to explore a (new to us) beach. We didn’t have much time since there was only a few nights with full sun to get out & use.

As always though, Arthur delivered. We went two separate times to try out some different ideas & lenses. This old school postcard feel photo was my final choice. It got us into the top 10.

It will need a bit of a crop & a resubmit but still relishing getting into the top 10 with such a talented group.

I’m back with another round of challenges this year. The first round focused on leading lines & while this didn’t make it in the top 10 (needed a crop adjustment), they loved the personality oozing out of Arthur. If you know him - you know he takes his job as a model VERY seriously.

Image 1 was the submission & image 2 was the backup.
