I’m back for the holidays! And I’m so excited for this location. When the opportunity to photograph at this gorgeous greenhouse fell into my lap I had to jump on it. I have wanted to photograph here for years.

To be honest, I've procrastinated writing this post. Every time I start I just can't seem to get the words out. Or at least get the right words to convey how I'm truly feeling. But here goes....

It's with mixed emotions that I announce the studio closing as of May 31, 2025. I’ve been working away behind the scenes at a career change for the past few years and juggling that and the studio has been nothing short of busy. I'm more than ready to spend quality time with my family without rushing away to the studio. I absolutely love my space and am so sad to see it go but it’s time. After 12 years of making the studio my home, it is time to let someone else enjoy what these four walls have to offer and make their dreams come true.

It's been my honour to photograph your families over the years. I've been lucky enough to see some of my newborns grow into teens and my tiny Back to School kindergarten clients graduate high school. I've watched your kids grow up before my eyes. It's been a really cool gig. Somehow I got lucky….I was able to build a business while being able to be at home to watch my own kids grow up.

I'm not completely packing the camera away. I don't think I'll ever be able to do that. My hope is that I get back to my fine art and I'm able to have my work in more galleries. And if you ever need me for photography, feel free to reach out. I just might be available. ❤️❤️❤️

Back to School Sessions Update * Please read the information below.

Even though summer has just begun we always get a head start on Back to School sessions at the studio to relieve some of the craziness of the fall photography season. That being said here we go.

Please see the list below for the upcoming season's Back to School dates. First session time for each day is 9am and last session time is 3pm. Booking one family every half an hour. PLEASE specify your date and specific time OR just the date you prefer and morning or afternoon preference when messaging. I will do my best to accommodate everyone. I will also update the list below when days book up so you're not left wondering what's available. Chalkboard, outdoors (weather permitting) or a combination of both backgrounds are available again this year.

If you're new to this process these sessions are my most popular sessions and can seem a bit crazy to book because of the popularity. At any time through the booking process please feel free to pm me and I will get you booked in.

Also, keep in mind that these sessions aren't only for school-aged children. I have families that use these to document their children annually from infancy onwards. They serve as great memory keepers. ❤

PSA.....Time doesn't ever stop. This is your reminder that you need family photos. The littles don't stay little forever. And if those littles are already big kids, even more of a reason to book a session. Fall Minis are a quick 20 minute session, perfect for short attention spans young and old. One day only....Saturday, October 28th. $165 for 5 digital images. Message me to book your spot.

We're well into this season of Back to School sessions with only 5 days left! Thanks to everyone that has already been in during the first 5 days. If you're looking to book a Back to School session please get in touch with me as soon as possible. There are only 20 openings left!

Ok everyone.....here are the dates for this year's Back to School sessions 🍎 I've bumped dates up a bit this year to accommodate some more time for fall minis as well as give you the opportunity to get school photos done before the craziness of the school year begins.

First session time for each day is 9am and last session time is 4:30pm. Booking one family every half an hour. PLEASE specify your date and specific time OR date and morning or afternoon preference when messaging. I will do my best to accommodate everyone but please understand that these sessions are always a HUGE hit and it may take a few messages from me to get a time that works. As always you’re booked in once I send you a confirmation. I will be replying to messages in order as they come in.

Mini sessions are always a huge hit at the studio. It gives families the chance to have photos done without the cost of a full session. And summer mini sessions have been a big request from so many of you. So for the first summer ever here's your chance for your family's own Summer Mini Session.

Christmas Mini Session set design is up and ready to go for the next few weeks. Yep...it's early but Christmas always comes early at the studio. 🎄 For those of you that have already booked here's what this year's set loos like. If you're looking for a Christmas session I still have some openings...send me a message and I'll get back to you asap. Dates are November 5th, 6th, 12th & 13th. Session times are 9:30am until 3pm each day.

The first of the seasonal mini sessions! I offer mini sessions in the fall and for Christmas....my two favourite times of year! After posting the dates in my last post spots booked up pretty quickly but there are still a few openings for fall. Lots of openings for Christmas but we'll save that post for a few weeks with a sneak peek at the set design.

The fall package includes 5 fully edited images for $165 plus tax. Dates are October 22nd, 23rd & 29th. Send me a message to book your session with your preferred date.
