"Blast Off"

Went to visit some owls that are currently living near my place, they are hard to photograph during the day because they are so high in the trees and they don't do much but sleep. However its seems about once an hour or so they move to another branch and I was able to capture this detailed shot of this mother owl taking off.

I hear they are only here for a few weeks so hoping to spend some time watching and photographing them.

"Sunset at Mitchell's Bay"

I haven't been very active with my photography lately but every once and a while I get out with my camera and tonight I headed to Mitchell's bay Ontario to photograph the sunset, all this social distancing and self isolation is very tough and I feel its important to get some fresh air and get outdoors. Lake St.clair was so calm and peaceful this evening.

My Friend was visiting from Moncton and wanted to see a Banff sunrise so I took him over to Vermillion Lakes, and was treated to some nice colour in the sky, we had missed a bit of it due to a stalled train but arrived just in time!

Looking back at some pictures from the spring, at a couple of my bear encounters this year. I ran into this little guy in Jasper Ab. just a happy little bear cub playing in a tree!

"Moraine Lake"

My favorite place in the mountains, despite the hoards of tourists everywhere, you can still seem to find your own little quiet spot along the shore this time of year.

Its been a little while since I have shot here and I was hoping for some nicer light but the incredible scenery always makes up for the light not always being right.
