If Lake Louise is on your list, plan ahead — parking has become one of the biggest challenges during peak season. Between traffic, limited spaces, and the $42 parking fee (even if you only stay for a short visit), it can add stress to what should be a memorable day.

What if it rains?

It's one of the biggest worries families have before a photo session in Banff. The weather here can change in minutes, and no one wants months of planning ruined by the forecast.

That's exactly what happened with this wonderful family from Wisconsin. We tracked the weather together throughout the day, adjusted our timing, and waited for the perfect window. The mountains gave us beautiful light, we captured everything they dreamed of... and just as we finished, the rain arrived.

Instead of packing up, we embraced it. Those final rainy moments became some of the most authentic and memorable images of the day.
