One day, my son will grow up… and these moments will be gone forever.

I've spent 19 years capturing memories for other people. But sometimes I wonder… am I capturing enough of my own?

So at 6 AM, we headed to Wedge Pond in Kananaskis. No clients. No deadlines. Just my family and my camera.

Maybe someday, my son will show these photographs to his own children and say, That's my dad. He always took us on adventures.

And that's when I realized…

The most valuable photographs I'll ever take might never earn me a dollar.

Because photography isn't just about preserving how life looked.

It's about reminding someone, years from now, how deeply they were loved. ❤️

🍂 One day, this photograph may be all that remains of this moment.

Your children won’t always be this small.
They won’t always reach for your hand or run into your arms.

Today, it may feel like just another family photo. Years from now, it will bring back their laughter, their little hands, and the way your family felt at this exact moment.

Fall reminds us that no season lasts forever. Children grow, families change, and ordinary moments become priceless memories.

Don’t wait for the “perfect” time.
The life you’re living today is already worth remembering.
