Not every wedding is meant to follow the expected path.

From soaring above the Rockies to standing among the peaks they love most, Katelyn and Shane chose a wedding day that was as intentional as it was unforgettable. Canmore really showed up for J & B.

The forecast called for a moody day, but the mountains refused to stay hidden. The clouds rolled through the peaks all afternoon, giving us the most incredible views and a backdrop that couldnโ€™t have been planned any better.

One of those wedding days that reminds me why I never worry about the weather in the Rockies. It always has a way of creating something unforgettable. ๐Ÿค

The most meaningful celebrations are the ones that feel completely true to you.

For Sam and Sampson, that meant exchanging vows in the mountains, celebrating with their closest friends, and embracing every moment exactly as it unfolded. It was intimate, emotional, and effortlessly beautiful.

D & B traveled all the way from the US to celebrate their love with an intimate elopement at Peyto Lake, and it couldnโ€™t have been more perfect. The day was beautifully moody but calm, and incredibly peaceful. As the sun dipped below the mountains, we had the entire viewpoint to ourselves, making every moment feel even more special. Just the two of them, surrounded by the Rockies, soaking in the quiet and beginning their next chapter together. These are the kinds of wedding days that stay with you forever ๐Ÿค

The forecast promised rain, but Tofino had other plans.

As Katrina and Zach exchanged vows beneath the towering old growth trees, the clouds parted just enough for soft sunlight to dance through the canopy. Later, a gentle mist rolled in from the ocean as we explored a secluded cove along the coast, where the waves met the shoreline and the Pacific stretched endlessly beyond them.

Some days donโ€™t need perfect weather to be beautiful. They simply need two people deeply in love, willing to embrace whatever comes their way.

And somehow, along the wild coast of Tofino, that made this day feel even more unforgettable. ๐Ÿค

Stefanie and Chrisโ€™s wedding day at Bow Lake felt like pure magic from the very start.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they said their vows along the shoreline with the mountains standing quietly behind them and the softest sunshine lighting the entire scene. It was intimate, emotional, and so grounded in what truly matters.

After their lakeside ceremony, we took the adventure to the next level.

We headed up into the mountains by helicopter, and not long after landing, the energy completely shifted. The blue skies gave way to dark, rolling clouds, and distant lightning began to flicker across the peaks. You could feel the storm building around us.

We didnโ€™t have much time.

The wind picked up, the temperature dropped, and then the hail came in fast. What started as a calm mountaintop moment quickly turned into a full on alpine storm.

And somehowโ€ฆ it made everything even more unforgettable.

Stefanie and Chris embraced every second of it. Laughing, holding onto each other, fully present in the chaos and the beauty of it all. No stress, no panic, just pure trust in the experience and in each other.

From a peaceful ceremony at Bow Lake to a wild, stormy adventure in the mountainsโ€ฆ this day was the perfect reminder that the most incredible moments are often the ones you never see coming.
