Walking into Lake Louise is something to behold, no matter how many times you've visited. This time we absorbed as much as we could from a canoe and as you can see from the glassy water, it doesn't get more tranquil than that.

Hi All

Lots of people have been messaging me about December 21st and the convergence of Jupiter and Saturn.

What that means is they will be very close together and will almost look like an incredibly bright star.

If you want to see this for yourself, get outside after sunset and look to the west. They're not quite as close as they will be but if you wait for the 21st, chances are good that it will be cloudy.

It's winter here and it's often cloudy more than it's clear, so make a point to get out every night for your chance to see it for the next month. If you're lucky, you may get 3 or 4 good nights.

Facebook seems to be saturating the hell out of this shot, but I went out for a nicer shot of Neowise and I'm quite happy with this one. BUT I'm not done yet!

While there is use for them, it will absolutely destroy astrophotography. This is just 60 satellites. 14,000 will forever ruin your view of the stars.

Albertans fear alien invasion as planets and satellites align.
